I haven't gotten a chance to really sit down and play with the Stasis power from the LotSB DLC.  There's some general discussion of Stasis in another thread, but I kinda wanted this to be a bit more of a specific topic about the best uses for the power, not whether it's good or not.

What's the best use you've put Stasis to?  It seems like a power that could be quite flexible in its uses, and I would like to hear what everyone thinks.

Which enemy is the best to lockdown first, the "elite" enemies, or the grunts?  I'm leaning towards the elites, just from theorycrafting, but if someone finds its better to take out the lower level enemies, I'd be interested to hear it, much like the Widow is best used to take out the little guys first to clear the battlefield.

I don't really think there is much to it beyond what Christina said in her blog. Its a "oh crap" power, or used for crowd control on annoying enemies.

Did a Krogan get to close, and your low on HP? Stasis.

Is there a bunch of soldiers supported by a vanguard or engineer? Stasis the support unit, kill the lesser guys.

Other then those two situations, I can't see there being much more discussion, considering she said on more important boss types it won't even work on them.

It can be used to easily kill Scion and to get an insane damage bonus, see here and here.

- From my experience Stasis does not work on: Praetorian, Harbinger, Oculus

- It instakills husks and flying drones when it wears off

Thanks for video'ng that, Kronner. I thought that would work that way but haven't had a chance to test it. That was AWESOME!!!

And what you did to the YMir's is just so wrong. They're just innocent robots and you never even gave them a chance... lol.
