 This took place after I played the final round of the proving grounds (supporting Harrowmont).

The last battle i fought with my party.


After the battle the was a (unusually) long delay in before the standard "you win" cut seen (about a min delay)
After getting impaitient I walked up to the section of that wall with the npc that lets you into the arena and (out of sudden impulse) tried to talk to him. This actually worked even though there was a 40ft wall seperating us. Doing this messed up the quest line and sent me back to the last round of the proving where it then kicked me out because the objective was finished earlier.

So now the proving npc is stuck at wanting me to participate but wont give me an option to participate again. Harrowmont's contact says that i still have yet to compete in the provings. Behlen's contact says that i have paticipated (many other npc's are like this as well)

Is this a known bug and if so how can I get out. If I cant I would like to know when it may be patched so i can move on in the storyline (I have completed everything else up to this point).

Feel free to ask questions on anything I may have left out.

I have the same problem but it is after the first fight in the proving grounds, and i can't enter to continue the fighting. Don't know how to solve this problem, playing on PS3 btw.
