Any accent is fine so long as I don't get called "pup."

Mr. Cousland Sr. really irritated me to no end.

I think calling you pup was rather fitting for the setting.  Dogs are well loved and highly regarded in Fereldan, so calling you a pup is a good thing.  It's also generic enough to make VO work for either a male or female PC.  I think it beats getting called kiddo or sport...

:crying: English please ... everytime someone says British, my stiff upper lip trembles. Won't somebody please think of the lip? :crying:

I prefer British because there's so much mash-up between the UK it's easy to mistake something that's more Welsh than English, and using British is sort of...cheating. You can't technically be wrong. The definition I was taught is that British refers to the UK, English refers to those from England.

I don't have a problem with British per say ... its simply refering to a British accent, does not work. An accent which encompases Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England? Simply can't exist. They syntax and accent are so different from one another, that it just ... eh. Especially when somebody simply means English.

In terms of people, I'm fine with it ... I'm not a pedant.

...I wasn't? I was referring to British terminology...? Like I said, I'm not exactly who uses that, or if it's universal in the UK, so "British" is the safe thing.

W*nker? Its an English expression. I'll shut up about the innumerable regional divisions in language and accent present in the U.K. I'll just go sit in the corner and put my hands over my ears .... and maybe cry ...:crying:

No. I'm going to chase you and hound you and there is no escape from my amazing American logic. I'll also beat on you with a shovel, for funsies.

People generalize things, I will too! Most foreigners don't make the distinction between Southern American sayings or East Coast/West Coast (which is to say, for most people, NYC and LA), and so on.

You will get the same damn treatment. It's your punishment for jealously holding on to the UK and refusing to give up the Vir--

Er.

What? Heh-heh.

I...have...no ulterior motives...what is that you speak of?

They are my favorite voices, especially Leliana.  This time around I want to hear some British accents.

Still English accents for the most part, though we do still use American accents (as in the midwest Amercian accent) for the City Elves and Dwarves and French accents for the Orlesians. We're using a different accent for the Dalish now (why? because we want to) but otherwise nothing drastic.

I mistakenly read this as "Silly English accents for the most part," and you were much cooler than usual for a brief second.

Thanks for the answer, but I still find it odd the City Elves and Dwarves would have the exact same accent.
