Welsh, primarily.

OMG YES!!!! When I saw the title to this thread I said "Please let there be Welsh accents so thick that speech is dripping with double Ls." =D

You should hear me speak english lol.

i once asked for bread but because of my accent it's sounded like breed

I'm not that bad when I speak english, my accent sticks out like a sore thumb but it doesn't change the meaning of my words. Although it would've been a lot more awkward if the guy said yes to your breeding request. :P

Really?

PIS sound like pea or Pee

Like PIS man ça va

Pis how are you man

Or

Hier j'ai été là bas pis après

yesterday i went there pis after

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww .. Well they're thinking. It's like a cheap pause between 2 sentence . i guess a way to keep the momentum.

Pis mean a lot of thing .. Just saying PIS to someone can lead  to a huge answer.
Such a powerful word.

There could've been German dwarves? Man, did we miss out. That whole Bhelen thing at the end would've had an entirely different tone!

I'm a bigger fan of 'hien?' or 'genre' then 'pis' . Then again, I live in the trenches of French Canadia- Verdun a Montreal!

On topic: I think the Elves having Welsh is totally FTW. Am I have to say my heart is a little crushed that we almost had German Dwarves, but alas, we've had that epicness robbed from us.

Were the Free Marches ever controlled by Orlais? If so that would actual work.

Indeed they were, but I should probably point out that Cajun has a lot of Southern American in it.

South American accent would be awesome for me.

I do not say "Eh?" although many of my relatives do, I often tease them about it because they don't notice.

Good choice.I think that's fitting. The Dalish remind me of what is known about the ancient Celtic and Druid people.

Hopefully they're easier to understand than AC/DC's Welsh singer. It's like that guy speaks an entirely different language when he's not singing.

I would object to this except ...
I say it too ... as do many of my friends and relatives. :pinched: "Eh" just ninja's it's way into the end of my sentences.

I used to think I didn't, until Mary began pointing out every time I used it. So, yes, on occasion I do indeed.

I do not, however, use "lol" at the end of my sentences like punctuation. So I yet hold my head high. :P

Really. By that same token, I've never actually come across anyone that says 'eh', either. That's like...something restricted to television making fun of hick Canadians, as far as I know.

Ha! Not far geographically, but it's like a whole other world sometimes ;)
