Would it be possible to post the images inside this tread too, please?

I don't have Facebook, and I don't want to signup for an account.

I have a Facebook and I still can't see it, something must have happened to the link.

It looks like a good representation of N7 on a backpack, I just find it a little awkward. The fact that it is the chest piece facing outward seems to detract from it for me. My preference would have been to incorporate detailing that looked like a back plate or even go as far as to make it look like a modular add on for the N7 armor itself.

Still looks nice. But I echo havoc's sentiment that it seems more suited for a younger consumer.

I don't think it really looks like a backpack - at least not one that i would take to school with me...though that might be b/c it's just a concept.  Looks more like something between a CamelBak and camping pack (due to apparent size and shape)...

Also, I agree with the F-book quote below...

This quote from Facebook says it pretty well:

"The center
pockets look like abs to me, which makes me think it's like an armor
chest plate, which in turn makes the backpack look like you're wearing
an armor chest plate backwards"

I think it would look better with a different center piece, maybe flatter, with the "carbon fibre" texture as seen on the armour.

The placement of the N7 logo is perfect - visible, but unobtrusive at the same time.

Overall though it's looking awesome!

i love the N7 armor addon idea... that would be cool IMHO, but this backpack just doesnt do it for me. maybe once i see a real one and not a super smooth artist rendering

Looks functional (which is my top priority for any pack). Please make sure it has good shoulder straps like this.

You get the idea.

i think it looks okay but after
MML1980's facebook quote , i would have to agree. i do love the N7stripe, logo/size and position on the strap. that looks awesome. also just make sure the bag isn't too long/the height. right now it looks okay, but that's my imagination...
googled some images...
no -1
NO -2
NO!!!!! -3

this is what i'm imaginging for size from the picture.
(borderline no)
i think this size is okay but not sure. need a model.

but. i personally wouldn't by it, i don't use backpacks LOL
and ill put this picture in for fun cuz it cracks me up. bahahahhaha

cant imagine buying it...even if it were a design I loved, I prefer messenger bags. The design itself is too busy...part of the reason the N7 sweater sells so well is that it's pure simplicity.

Back packs in generally tend to lean towards the more expensive...so I wouldn't expect this to be any less than 50 bucks, if that low.

It's a cool idea, definitely, but it just seems a bit "off" to me. I guess my biggest issue with it is, like others have said, that it's designed to mimic the appearance of the front of Shepard's armor, yet it would go on your back, making it look like you have the chest piece on backwards. Mind you, though, it's not bad. And looking at it actually gives me some ideas.

Initially I was simply going to suggest "Try to make it look like the back of the N7 armor." This could work, and could certainly be worth seeing a concept design for. Going off of what daedalus said, though, making it look like something that's supposed to be worn -with- the N7 armor could be worthwhile. This way, the idea would be to look like an N7 Armor Backpack, rather than a backwards N7 armor chestplate. (This would also provide a valid excuse to keep the N7 emblem visible on it somewhere, and the red stripe down the strap. This would help keep the design connected to the original concept, and, well, that stripe has always looked cool. XD)

Not for me, but I could see it coming out nicely. The picture is a little weird, but it is not the real thing, so I will wait to judge.

I actually use a backpack to lug all my stuff from my store around with me, so I could see myself using this, even though it is a bit youngish crowd looking.

This concept art design though is a little useless, an actual prototype picture is really needed to see exactly how usefull and what size all those pockets are your showing. And also, what kind of price point is being targeted? It's cool and all, but these kinds of novelty designed things tend to be outrageously overpriced.

If it all came together though, I might be picking one up, even if it ends up just sitting in my office with all the other collectibles on display.

Hey, if it's released and it's a good enough price, I'll certainly pick it up.

I don't see what's wrong with a simple black/graphite messenger bag with the N7 logo on it, though. Much simpler, much more attractive and less... silly looking, I guess. I'm not saying the N7 armor bag is horrible looking, but I've seen more attractive bags.

I don't get the love for messenger bags, outside of them being a hipster calling card.

They're kinda practical if you're carting around small things or a light load. If you're going to work with just a book  and your dinner, you're not going to need a backpack. I don't think they're that practical for things like college or school, though. I find them more of an inconvenience as they really bugger up your shoulder (A lot of weight in one place) and they're not as comfortable.

Messenger Bags are better than Backpacks for some things, Backpacks are better for others. :)

Looks alright... but I don't know if I will get it (it will probably be very expensive)

I think the main turn-off is the abs part of the armour. It looks cool in the drawing, but imagining it in real life would be hilarious. :P

And I prefer messenger bags, but I use both. Make a messenger bag! :D

The Dead Space backpack in the Visceral store is $108. Though if you pre-order now you get $40 off, 3 mini lithos of DS 2 and a t-shirt. I would imagine that this pack with be close to the same money.

That would make the bag $68.  If you want too break it down I'd happily pay $10-15 for each litho if their the same as the ME2 minis.  I'm now paying $38 for the bag and then a shirt which they haven't show yet, lets say $10 for the shirt.  I'm now paying $28 + shipping for the bag itself.  Not bad if you want the bonus stuff.

actually unless I'm reading it wrong you are paying the $40 up front and getting the $40 discount in january when you actually order the bag so you aren't actually saving any money you just ensure yourself the bonus items.  so in your example of 10-15 for the lithos and 10 for the shirt you are still paying $68 for the bag not $28  granted none of their shirts start off at $10 so you're probably talking more like $24 for the shirt and knocking the bag down to $54
