No, it wouldn't work out since she's part of the suicide mission.

A DLC with Ash/Kaiden would work better. Same capacity as Liara. They're unkillable to be used in ME3. They're the only squadmates that can reasonably have DLC, IMO.

yup and then team up the Virmire survivor with Anderson - this way we'll have a full talking party.

I think DLCS like Liaras will happen again but for only those from ME1 who have not got a main role in ME2 like Wrex, Ashley/Kaiden.
I doubt they will add more to the citadel or add anything to current characters from ME2 or ones from ME1 and ME2

simply because they do not need to. However we do not know what bioware will be doing to mass effect 2 next year especially if you look how long they have made DLCs for dragons age when the new one is only like 4 months away we still have over a year till ME3.

You never know they could even do a bridge for Shepherd from ME2 into ME3 you never know

No. ME2 has more than enough Tali in it already.

My guess is only one more "real" DLC: Alliance politics, with Ash/Kai and probably Anderson. I don't rule out Bio doing another awful money-grab like the second ME1 DLC though.

So, an Ashley/Kaidan DLC is more likely? Because i don't see what of their recent life can be used for a bridge DLC. If i'm not wrong, when Shepard died, the Virmire Survivor returned to the Alliance, without doing anything special, instead of Liara which saved Shepard's body and started a fight against the Shadow Broker, being an influential Information Broker of Illium.

But Ashley or Kaidan...

Those bridge DLC MUST have some kind of plot:P and if is also only partially based on character, the story will be better.

So, Tali = too much content

Wrex = should be dead

Ashley/Kaidan = ... any connection?

Garrus = Same of above

The most likely option for me is some character who wasn't a squadmate in both games.

I'm guessing no DLC focused on the Squad from ME2. The fact they can die kind of screws it up.

Now Ashley/Kaiden I could actually see especially if they go with something along the lines of that one exchange between Heckett, and the Major in his dossier. Send a squad to pick Shepard up, and have Ashley/Kaiden lead it. Though I doubt it will happen. Their pretty much the same character now with a different body.

Tali has had enough content for her already. Now, if she wasn't in ME2, then that would be a different matter completely... I would like an Ashley/Kaidan DLC, though.

Any DLC that will not integrate into main story or after it (so that you can play after you are done) will suck. They sucked in DA and will ruin ME game.

Tali does not need it. She had two games where she was a squadmate and she was also made a LI. No point for her getting DLC. Now Ash, Kai and Wrex need DLC, and they better :(

If the DLC is roughly 10 minutes long and consists only of me flying to the Flotilla and dropping her off - never looking back, I'd be all for it.

I don't think she'll have any DLC, most I can see that actually focus on a specific person would be something dealing with ashley/kaiden from ME1.

I am however, incredibly interested to find out what the dark energy or w/e they talk about on her mission, that made the star in her recruitment mission go nova/super nova way way way premature. No one seems to pick up on that as odd or important for ME3, least I never see anyone mention it (think parasini mentions it, but it's in game only like 2-3 times and it's subtle.)

They are Shepards last link to the Alliance, a dlc about Ash/Kaidan would focus around the Alliance some how. And the dossiers and vids for LotSB kinda looks like the Alliance might be up to something.

A Tali DLC would not offer anything interesting. It would have to involve Geth and we already did enough of that with her in ME 2. It'd just be another chance to bang one out over Tali for her fans. Although the Kaiden/Ashley DLC would probably lead to the same thing at least it could lead to some more interesting subject matter and recreate ties for Shepard to the allience. If it's set on earth i would definately buy it.

I don't think they are going to repeat the Pinnacle Station mistake (at least not intentionally -> money grab). I'd like to think that between games, books, comics, action figures and plans for a movie the IP is too valuable by now.

The alliance DLC would be perfect though, I hope they do that and it would be alright with me if it were the last one. Time to go ME3 after that.

Considering that Ashley's or Kaidan's dossier is "surprisingly well-classified," they could have been doing whatever Bioware wants for the past two years.  This gives any DLC featuring them enormous potential.  In particular, they have strong links with Anderson, who featured strongly in the latest Mass Effect novel - and those novels usually give clues as to where ME is going next.

No need to be cruel.  Easy as it may be to swagger around in the absence of their mega-thread, it's in poor taste.

On the topic of the thread, I can understand that everyone will want something just as amazing as Lair of the Shadow Broker for their favourite ME character (assuming character isn't Liara, in which case they already have it).  But I think Tali's role for the next game is quite clear as it is.  Perhaps some kind of quarian / geth DLC would work, but personally I feel that would be best dealt with in ME3.

If there had to be a DLC based on a squadmate, I'd actually hope it's Legion for the simple reason that if you were doing the game 'properly' (I.e., so that everyone survives) it's likely that you don't get to hear all of his background information.

Failing that, I'd like to see something to do with the (True) Geth and any hope for an alliance with them (or mass stealing of their technology).

I'd also like to chew out Ash/Kaidan for their self-righteous bs they spouted at me on Horizon, but I think there's more potential out there for bridging DLC than just them trying to ingratiate themselves back into your good graces.

Any post DLC they bring out should give the option of providing character development to Shephard as well.

I am a Tali fan, but I think that Ashley and Kaidan still need their DLC first. Then, we can do the geth/quarian thing.

Unless Bioware's saving that for ME3, I'd like some DLC about the Quarian/Geth conflict (Tali and Legion) and a solution for it plus a way to either reclaim Rannoch or find a new suitable planet.

But I agree with most people... there are still some more important things to do first, like Kaidan/Ashley...

I can understand what people mean by the fact she's already been in two games. I will fully admit, I am not one of Tali's biggest fans (although I liked her in ME2 much better), and I would MUCH rather see DLC with Kaidan and Ashley in it first and foremost....but a DLC with Tali in it could be really good.

First of all, BioWare doesn't have to worry about, "Will this sell?" Tali fans have a group, they had a 10,000+ page thread before it was shut down, and I remember reading that there is a Tali lithograph coming out in a couple of months. A Tali DLC would make sense financially, period.

Regarding the fact that she is in two games....this is true. However, I haven't romanced her, but as a friend FemShep, all I convos were pretty much:
"Talk?"
"Engines."
Unless you're romancing her (which I haven't); it's like the issue with Garrus, unless you romance him.
"Talk?"
"Calibrating guns."
So...the characters are lacking in character dialogue a bit.

Now, Tali also has the benefit of association to an issue that, aside from Alliance/Cerberus and genophage issues, has been one of the main subplots. She really shined during her loyalty mission. And this was an interesting outlook into internal quarian tensions, as well as those with the geth. BioWare could probably do a DLC that focused on either helping the quarians decide to take back their homeworld, or helping them find a new place.

SPOILERS:

Has anybody read Mass Effect: Ascesnsion? It details some of why the quarians hate Cerberus but at the end, there's a scouting ship that is going into deeper space to find a potential place to settle for a new homeworld. BioWare could explore something like that.

IMO. And sorry if my writing is grammatically incorrect, I'm a bit tired. :/

If I'm not mistaken the OP asked what content would be appropriate for a DLC and NOT whether there should be one or not. If you don't want a Tali DLC, go and make a post so you can trash it there. Swear to god the Tali haters are as bad, if not worse, than the damned Talimancers. Sheeze.

I'd like to make a Tali DLC that focuses on the Migrant Fleet and it's decisions to go to war or not. I'd probably call it the Quarrian - Geth War DLC as to allay the fears of the Tali hate...
