I'd like to see one that focuses on the Quarian's and Geth but not one that specifically focuses on Tali alone because they really can't have one that focuses on her alone. Not when she can die during the suicide missions.

Now if they wanted to do a Geth/Quarian DLC and have Tali be a major part of if she is alive. Great. If she's dead have her be replaced by Kal. But she can't be made the sole focus.

Personally I think we will get one or two more dlc's that are similar to losb, then a masseffect 2 expansion similar to dao Awakening with all new content for the characters.

I don't think there will be an expansion.  Sounds like more DLC though.

No thanks. I think we have seen enough of Tali.

I really want to see something for the VS now. Anything else before that would feel unfair IMO.

Wrex DLC would be nice too.

For some reason, I believe that any resolution to the geth/Quarian conflict will come only in ME3, and not in the form of DLC. That is if ME3 is going along the design of Dragon Age, where you unite the galaxy to fight the Reapers.

If BioWare wanted to somehow include Legion in there, then they could probably do so.  Kill two character wants with one stone.  And it would make perfect sense.
And as for characters dying....well, it's possible for them to not die, the player just has to replay for a couple of hours and do a loyalty mission.
But Tali's part of an important subplot.  And there's going to be a lot of action in ME3, so some of the quarian/geth plotline could be focused.  I would imagine this kind of DLC being released closed to ME3's date.

I honestly feel that regardless of who dies in ME2, they will be in ME3 fully featured. What do I mean?

I think it is important that you have all your team survive the suicide mission because in some way or another you will need them in ME3 and if they are dead, your task becomes more difficult to the point of possible failure depending on what you did in ME2. I think BioWare will take the continuity that far.

Already we need Liara

We need the VS is some way I'm sure

Most likely we need Legion

We will need the Krogan Race (Wrex)

We need the Rachni

We will in some way need Tali I'm betting and so on and so on.

My point is that we will need everybody for the easiest time dealing with the Reapers. I think it will come down to how well we played the last two games that will dictate how we fair in ME3

Why would we need anyone from the ME2 squad?

Weren't Liara and the VS kept out of the suicide mission precisely because that guarantees their survival into ME3?

I have no doubt the ME2 survivors will be seen, in some manner. The luckiest might even get Wrex caliber cameos, while some might only send you an email (or perhaps a vidmail, if Bioware feels generous)...

Besides, the ME3 noobs (remember, it will be a stand alone game yet again) need new squaddies. They might feel gypped if, for example, only those importing save games were able to have romance plots etc.

Love the NO on Tali, but in the next sentence....Maybe Ash or Useless boy would be great.

WHY?

Their DLC would last all of 5 seconds.....I am an Alliance fanboy..your not..so suck off...end of dlc.

A good DLC would be something that takes place AFTER the SM and LOTSB. Something Like Shep and crew finding a way to dark space to meet the reapers head on. DLC that investigate ways to get there and while they do that, they battle Cerberus, cause TIM has a chubby for Shep for stealing his ship, and the Alliance because they think hes a traitor.

A few DLC's that flow into ME3. Tell a story that leads into the main ME3 game.

No need for crew dlc's..thats just silly.

Wrex= Story was already told.........unite the clans..end of story. What kind of DLC would that be? Shep renegades.....do it or ill b**ch slap ya!.... the hold out clans to join? Or paragon.....bore em to tears....so they join just so he shuts up?

Tali = story told......made A.I..... they get smart...kick butt..and the Quarians run away. Geth were used has pons for the reapers..no story there

Garrus= Thug fighting thugs on omega....no

Thane and Mordin.....dying anyway...DLC for them at a Hospice?

Miranda and Jacob = No...just NO!

I really like Tali, but she's been in two games already. The VS survivor and Wrex, they should be next, I think.

This could make sense, a DLC for Ashley/Kaidan AND Wrex, IF he is alive. Surely, his role can't be big because he could be dead, but i think is the most likely hope that Wrex's fans can have.

wrex wouldn't make since and it would be unfair to those who've killed him. Therefore it wouldn't work. I can see an Alliance dlc happening where Admiral hackett ask for help and reunites you with an "old friend"

No thanks. I'm dead sick of Tali. And as one poster eloquently put it, asking for a DLC about a specific character means you're likely to get back pure fanservice and nothing else. The DLC has to be tied to the main storyline and furthers it. in LotSB, it's just that the writers already set it up for Liara to move the story along, and it was done admirably with a chance to shed more spotlight on Liara, and not because the story was created to highlight Liara.

Since when did a small population of Space Gypsies become the center of the frickin' universe? People act like the damn quarians are somehow crucial to the success of the fight against the Reapers. Really? They seem kinda stupid to me, ready to declare Tali a traitor unless she proves herself otherwise. Guilty until proven innocent? Eff you, Admiralty, I'll hire some Blue Suns or something, kthnxbai.

Truth be told, I wasn't all that impressed with the Quarians.

Except Kal'Reegar. Man did I love that guy!

Same. VS first, then bridging content, with squadmate dialogue.

Theres already far too much Tali. Anyone else but her, even Jacob would be better.

God I can't believe I just said I would prefer Jacob content. But its out there, I said it.

The truth, right there.

No. More. Tali. Ever. Image IPB

Ashley & Kaidan, Wrex, or generic build up towards ME3 plot developments related DLC are what is needed.

EDIT

And Garrus too, can go rest on his laurels. For the rest of the ME "saga", for all I care. He's ok, but the memetic "badass" worship cup this fandom carries for him has "runneth over" ages ago.

Both Garrus and Wrex can be dead.

if they do another DLC...it needs to be a Ash/Kaiden...sorry for what I said on Horizon, just like old times battling Geth.... to bridge some more juicy stuff for ME3.

I'd like that very much. Hm, where are the Tali supporters in this thread? Afraid to post, because the moderator shuts down all Tali threads?

No need to be cruel.  Easy as it may be to swagger around in the absence of their mega-thread, it's in poor taste.

If you look at my signature, you should see that I actually am a Tali fan. I am just massively torqued off at the massive moderation fail which is the banning of all Tali threads. The most popular companion of ME2 and all discussion of her is banned on the official forums? Wow. Surely there was a better way to handle the derailment of the massive Tali thread, like banning the people who were doing the derailment.

Now you have someone ask about a Tali DLC, and 90% of it is people metaphorically spitting on the character? Excellent moderation to scare all Tali supporters away from the forums. :pinched:

Tali DLC = no effing way.

This universe is far too rich to fall into the trap of focusing on such a boring character.

A few ideas:
- virmire survivor
- the fall of TIM/Cerberus once they realize the power Shep now holds
