Ok, Downloaded LoSB
Played that night - several bug errors
Removed it
Then reloaded
Now I get this Error
Unable to Authorize the listed DLC
Please log into Cerberus Network with
Account used to purchase the DLC
Lair of Shadow Broker
Well I remove the Auto log into the EA account and reloaded
my name and password. Still does not recognize it as Authorized DLC.
I purchased from your web store - what is wrong????

Bump. Having the exact same problem here.
So BioWare, has the cocaine bucket ran out yet? Oh, I apologize: no blasphemy on this forum? Well then, sorry to burst your bubble but there are tons of people, including me, waiting for some kind of obscure update or patch to fix this problem both you and EA created. Also, because it would seem you are incapable to clean the very **** you've made (which is pretty ****ing embarrissing if you can't fix your own product), we need to do it for ourselves by clumsily messing around in the system hoping for the fix everytime a solution has been posted. If you have any form of tact and dignity, you would've acknowledged the problem on a seperate thread standing high above all other threads.
I really love the games you make, but frankly, I'm terrified to buy one of them. To think it would take a longer time to fix one of your problems compared to completing the entire game.

I am also having the same problem. I've been going back and forth with EA tech support and they keep trying to imply that it's a connectivity problem at my end. Yet it would seem that is just a cop out as so many of us are having the same issue.

I bought it shortly after it was released and was able to connect. However since then, the game hangs at "connecting to Cerberus Network...". Haven't been able to connect for a number of days.

I got a problem with the Overlord DLC not getting authorized after installing the LoTS DLC... It tells me to log in the account with the Overlord DLC... But its the same account as the one I got kassumi and the Laird of the shadowbroker...
The overlord DLC was working a month ago but after gettign the new content I cant load my last save file due to this bug or register problem or whatever it is.

Bioware should release LoTs as a special edition or something considering how many people who have trouble with it one way or another.

I had some time to try reinstalling Overlord after i got back home (it was never removed) that seems to have fixed the issue.
So reinstalling the DLC thats gotten corrupted seems to help.

I am having the problem with the Kasumi DLC, where you get the "Unable to authorize the listed DLC . . . Please log in to the Account used to purchase the DLC." After I tried that, not only did I NOT get Kasumi, but now I have somehow lost Zaeed, Normandy crash site, Cerberus weapon and armor, and Dragon Armor, and can not resume the game I was playing because of all the DLC content that is NOW missing!

I am having the same issue and no matter what I do about the auto-login or browse these forums, nothing seems to help. I hope BioWare is fixing this bug for PCs. Unbelievable. "Here is some awesome DLC! ... Oh wait, sorry. You can download and install but can't play it. It is the thought that counts anyway."

Had to get a New Password to Login
Ok, Loged in now then Downloaded LoSB
Installed OK but on Running MEffect 2 got:
"Unable to Authorize the listed DLC
Please log into Cerberus Network with
Account used to purchase the DLC
Lair of Shadow Broker"
Re loged in as above & message went away.
My ME2 Game plays as normal & recognises all
my other DLC'S but LoSB does not show up
anywhere in the game.
Reinstalling LoSB does not fix the problem.
The 1.5GB file is very large for me to download & try again. The
end result may well be just the same.
Is there a Tecnical way to make LoSB "Authorized" for ME2?

There isn't. This is the problem with EA/Bioware's downloadable content authorization scheme. It's not a one-time authorization, it happens *every* time you load the game. So you're being denied the use of purchased items if you a> lose your internet for a day or so or b> THEIR servers go down.
EA really should change how it works to allow someone to play WHAT THEY BOUGHT anywhere and anytime and not have to rely on impermanent servers or uncertain internet access.

Thanks "StarcloudSWG".So End of line for me as I have completed ME2 twice and ,as you say, EA/Bioware are really not looking after their Loyal Players with such an "Authorized System". Maybe, just Maybe: if enought Players complain EA/Bioware might decided to change their System.

Have you solved the problem, I've got the same problem with Zaeed. ....

Totally unofficial solution, use at your own risk:
1) TURN OFF gameplay feedback and autoconnect.
Do so by starting Mass Effect 2 and going to extras > Options.
Then exit game.
2) Install the DLC in question
3) search and download this file: https://encrypted.go...me2entitlements (version 2, or 3 if available already)
4) Put the giveme2entitlements.exe file into your Mass Effect 2 directory. Run Crack from there.
It activates the DLC files without connecting to the DRM server. However, this might be a one way-ticket. When you use the normal authorization for the next DLC, the one you manually activated might get deactivated again. But then you can use the tool again ;-)

Thanks for the tip Bravenu3, but I will wait and see if Bio or EA come up with a practical solution. I love hacks (power to the people) but if they are as lame with their DLC content, who knows what their network will do with a hack afterwards. I can almost hear the knock on the door. Bla!

Hi StarcloudSWG, Grakappa & Bravenu3, Trisno99,
I sent a long detailed EMail to: customerservice@ea.com
as the link to "EA Contact Us" seems not to provide a box for
inserting your text.
My Email contained all relevant Passwords, Codes, Puchase info etc.
My old Login Password is not now Recognised.
I tried "How to re login " from the EA
Search Help here:
SHORT URL
http://bit.ly/cTIHnh
but to no avail.
Direct Question to EA?
"Question? How do I get my MassEffect 2 to
"Authorize" my DLC - Lair of the Shadowbroker."
Thanks, a Loyal Fan."I will post Reply if ever I
get one.

I had the same problem. I had a friend help me out. I turns out that I have two accounts for the Mass Effect 2. You might have two accounts for your game. You might have to pay for it again to put it under your original account. I probably might have to do the same thing.
