They haven't solved the problem for 6 month or more and there is no indication that they will. Apparently investing into fixing this problem is more trouble than enduring some nagging by fans whose DLC is broken by the DRM system. Political economy explains this: whatever the economic interests of a certain group of people are, their decision-making will reflect that.

As the hack inlcudes preventing ME2 from connecting to the Cerberus Network, the latter won't do a thing.

On a meta-level: it's always a bit funny to see people waiting and writing forum posts about "DLC can't be authorized" when fixing the problem yourself takes only a few minutes.

Edit: My dad was having trouble running LotSB on PC, but he managed to solve my problem by reinstalling the DLC. According to him, EA tech support wasn't much help.

I know I only have one since Mass Effect 2 is the only EA Online game I own. I really hope they fix this soon because nothing is worse than paying money for something that doesn't work.

This seems to be quite a big problem. Bought LOTSB and installed. Now none of my DLC works. keeps saying I am not authorised to access any of the DLC or access the Cerebus Network. Disabled auto login and that seems to have solved the issue as manual login allows me to play my DLC and saves. Seems more security has led to more problems for people who buy the game legally

i'm having sort of the same issue , my biggest problem is i keep getting a server time out mesage when i try to log into cerebus so that it can authorise my dlc, but any way , i'm pretty sick and tired of buying a game only to have hell getting every thing to work right. and peoeplwander why pc game sales are down. mass efect 2 was gotten for me a a birthday present (birth day was yesterday on the 22 of sept , got the game today in mail) , i know it's not the firend's fault but i kind of feel like telling them thank you for teh big ginormous headache .... that said i'm gonna go cool off by watching some netflix other wise i'm liable to break something and or tear out all my hair.

I submitted a very detailed account to Customer Services and finished with this:Question? How do I get my MassEffect 2 to "Authorize" my DLC - Lair of the Shadowbroker."
Not only did they NOT answer the Question; the reply seems to me just an "Auto generated computer reply".This was their Reply:"We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 144 hours.Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you."I think "StarcloudSWG" was right in her earlier post.

I love this game. No doubts there. But now it just give me depression. Nothing is worse when one of your favorite games craps out on itself. The reminder that my DLC "isn't authorized" whenever I load the game doesn't help either. Maybe if I send BioWare some flowers and chocolates they will give me some head...I mean help.

I have the same issue with the included coupon code free DLC

It appears the game makers/sellers can't be bothered to acknowlege or reply to these complaints/issues - even the tech support won't reply to emails as well

Very rude & extremely unprofessional way to run a business!

 My PROBLEM is SOLVED
After many emails back and forth to EA Customer Service <customerservice@ea.com>
that took about 1 month & 4 different Help Advisors they provided me with this link:
http://masseffect.wi...roker_(mission)
that showed me I needed to do the Prerequisite: Horizon Mission
After completing the Horizon Mission the Lair of the Shadow Broker was Triggered.
I hope the above Link may Help others. Please Note that despite what
others have said on this Forum: EA Customer Service will Help you.

Same problem (Can't access dlc) and now it's logged me out of cerberus and when I try to log back in it tells me my code has already been used. What a pathetic company theres no way I'm buying any more EA games because of this.
