"Kirahee suggests that Specialist Solus is a walking cloaca and repeats the importance of holding the line"

This sort of thing is what made it above average.

Small issue though - the DLC seems to break the Observer mission.... no way to do it properly since after you hack the initial terminals for Liara, every conversation option automatically starts the Shadowbroker plot with Liara leaving to go to the apartment. The terminals to find who is spy wont apear till after you did the DLC, at which point Liara isnt on Illium any more, and you cant go to her office to see the final scene with her assistant. Just me?

That's right. Male Shepard and female Shepard have completely separate animations here. This was never the case in the main game. We asked for it, and here we have it in the best DLC in video game history.

BioWare, you earned it! <3

That's awesome! Good job, Bioware!

I already answered this on the first page. Here:

Shepard, male or female, will sit on the bed only if Liara is not your current love interest. If Liara is romanced and is your current love interest, the whole scene on the Normandy will play out somewhat differently, and Shepard won't sit on the bed. Both of those Shepards in the OP didn't romance Liara. One is loyal to Ashley and the other is with Thane.

In short, you must not romance Liara.

Uh oh, I don't like the sound of that. I thought I just let Liara to focus on her new job instead of saying it's all over... I get the same feeling as when I told Tali "it is too dangerous"

I hope this doesn't mean they're unavailable in ME3

the DLC seems to break the Observer mission

You can give Liara intel any time after your first conversation. After that, she will disappear and you may lose the two "Help Liara" quests (hacking 8 terminals and running around Illium).
To avoid that don't select the "Give Liara intel" option until after doing those two quests (you can trigger them by picking the top-left option unless you asked her about Thane/Samara in the same conversation)

I really like that we, the players, can see that Bioware is actually listening to some of our suggestions and we can give feedback on their efforts. I'm glad they are using DLC to show what changes they may be making in ME3.

Interactive environments and gender-specific animations... can't wait to see what's next.

LOTSB is good times, and since its part of the build up towards ME3, I'm STOKED for Mass Effect 3.

...

I also demand a squad worth of Little Blue Children.

Yet another reason LotSB is superior to the game it comes from.

I just hope they don't over-do it and Barbie-ize FemShep in ME3.

I did some slight recoloring to the pictures in the OP. They seem to look better now. Should've done it from the beginning.

Okay guys I have a silly question for you.

Now, we all have seen what the shadow brokers ship looks like.

I watched a Y'tube of an ending where Shepard dies and the collectors base was saved.

Didn't the ships that appear at the collectors base all look just like the shadow brokers ship?
