Hi, i got all dlc's installed, and today i purchased Witch hunter and Golems of A at the same time.

Installed Witchers hunt fine, then proceeded to purchase Golems, and everything fine exept that it stays at 0% download and never gets anywhere.. after 3 hrs and several restarts its just the same, cant get it. Tried to restart the daupdater etc but no luck..

Any hints on this?

Thanks in advance!

If you need to, you can download and install any of the DLC packs from outside the game. Just look under Profile > Your Registered Game Promotions and select More Info PC, and select Download. The instructions are on the same screen as the download link.

Also clear your internet cache.  Sometimes a PC can run out of space on the OS harddrive partition, because of the size of the DLC packs.

Another step to try: When you run the game, click on Configure. In the lefthand pane, there is a Repair option. One of the options in there is to clear the download cache. It supposedly has worked for some; didn't for me. I had to go the Manual route like Latharion said. *That* worked.

I bought Leliana's Song and had a similar problem, never getting past 0 on the progress bar. When I clicked on the description of the DLC it showed an image of Leliana and a little blurb about the DLC, but also showed the required game version as 1.03 in RED. I assume that means that you have to be running that version of the game to get the ELD to install. Problem is, I am on v1.04 - so this shouldn't be a problem.

Will try the cache clearing but also the manual dazip updater. Thanks for those ideas, hope they work.

From what I can tell, the red highlighted version number under requirements is there as a reminder of the minimum version required to play the DLC scenario, but it is not required to install the content. As an example, last night I deleted and reinstalled all of the DLC packs (to troubleshoot an installation issue with the newest DLC pack). My game version is 1.04 and I did not reinstall the orignal game or the Awakening expansion. I was able to successfully in stall the DLC packs even though some of them required 1.03, without any problems.

Doesn't work for me... In fact, nothing does - I've already tried every single solution I found on this forum (clearing cache, manual installing, deleting Manifest.xml, reinstalling DA, etc.) Today, after some 15 minutes of 0% showing, it just started downloading itself... and then, after some half an hour and 40%, went right back to 0%. I've no idea what that's about, guess it has something to do with the authentication problems and we just need to wait till BioWare solves it with another patch... Btw. I've bought all DLCs and always had some serious problems that took me 2 or 3 hours to solve... That's getting really frustrating. Last time EA's technical support told me to defrag my hdd and reinstall my OS; what a brilliant idea...

manual install seems to work, havent started the actual module though, but there is still a problem or two; GOA is shown as installed, but also in downloading process at 0%, been so for the entire day..

@Bearclaw: Yes, it should work. Leliana's Song still shows as downloading...0%, but I have played through the entire (brief) mission and it worked fine. It still shows as downloading though.

Hello Bearclaw,

if you install the DLC manually this is just an optical issue but easy to solve:

- open services.msc, stop the Dragon Age: Origins - Updater Service, if its running (Because this service reads the manifest.xml)

- Win7/Vista: %userprofile%\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings

- Edit the Manifest.xml -> Search for PartiallyDownloaded and Change this into ConsumeSuccess

- Save the file, restart the service and start the game...
