okay so I have just installed NWN2 and I am having some pretty major problems, the game seems to start up fine but after about a minute or so it will freeze up for 15-20 seconds with the background music still playing, then even that will glitch out repeating about a 1 second loop this goes on for about 5 seconds then the game continues. the intervals between this happening seem to get shorter and shorter until eventually the game crashes giving a 0xc0000005 error code. I have updated all my drivers to the most recent builds and still nothing. game is quite litterally unplayable. Anyone else encounter this problem?

You need to give us system specs and what GPU driver you're running.

This does sound like hardware issues or background apps running.
