It will happen. Fact.

Only a true fan understands the brilliance of DAO. Better than us, even. It cannot be replicated, and no other story we create could possibly match it. From here on in I'm afraid it's all Ewoks, mages with metachlorian counts and "Alistair swung first!"

Welcome to the future.

They better not, Hawke is cool, and snarky Hawke sounds epic.

The future is shiny, Mr. Gaider.
But still, after everyone complained about you breaking the Warden's story, it wouldn't be a shock to see everyone complaining in DA3 about you breaking Hawke's story.

Wow. Didn't expect you to reply to me, Mr. Gaider.

I feel like agent Smith. Now, now. Sorry of the off-topic, the temptation is just TOO MUCH.

Any opinion on the Nug Bombs? I wrote you a message and started to think you'd be laughing and feeding of our suffering :D

So you have an idea on where your going atm...but its still pretty much making it up as you go along?

It is possible to have a broad outline of where you want the history of the Dragon Age to go but still leave the finer details to be filled in.

I just think it's stupid how we are breaking from the story of DAO to go follow some other person when what appears to be the majority of people feel that DAO finished without being concluded.

What was the story of DAO? Stopping the blight. Is this done? Yes. Bioware are working on a large canvas, a story analogous to series like A Song of Ice and Fire, Wheel of Time or Malazan: Book of the Fallen. Such large stories use multiple characters and locations.

Maybe Flemeth has a plan and she's a cylon.

I doubt it because then she would just be saying she has a plan when in reality she has nothing.

Great. Mr. Gaider ran away.

After seeing how all the Bioware staff have avoided the Nug Bombs question, I'm starting to wonder WHY.

Dragon age is a world.. A nice story.. When you create a world you can have many stories to tell.. Its what is happening here.. In DAO and Awakening you are a grey warden and the story is based on the blight.. In DA2 you live the story of hawke another story... This is a nice thing each story make us discover other things of the dragon age universe.. Morrigan and Flemeth are important character i think in the future we will understeand more regards theyr plans..We just have to sit and living the story the information will come.. Its nice discover things not faster.. You have time to reflect and try to find an explanation.. This is very cool..

Because our tolerance for silliness is restricted to silliness of our own creation.

I would say this is true. Not the direct comparison to those stories, of course, but more the large canvas part. Naturally someone's only going to react to the little corner of it they can see now, but that's fine. Maybe in the end some people won't be happy after all-- in fact I guarantee you there'll be some, and they'll race to the internet to quickly register their disapproval-- but we'll get there in our own time, and it will be good.

But will anyone understand our brilliance? OUR BRILLIANCE, I TELL YOU!

...ahem. Probably not. :D

When you say this, do you mean that we simply shouldn't expect awnsers in the near future?  Or are we still going to be asking the same questions twenty years from now?

I'm saying that we're not here to answer your every question. We're here to tell you a story-- and if we did for some reason just give you what you're asking for it probably wouldn't be what you wanted anyhow. So you'll have to stick around for the ride and see where we take you.

Or not. It's up to you. If someone prefers to stomp their feet and declare "DA is dying" because it didn't sing and dance quickly enough to suit their need for instant gratification-- well whatever. Do that, then. ;)

Either i get my hands on the demo or i am gonna watch on youtube!

Now that's what I wanted. Thanks, Mr. Gaider
I really thought no one was actually going to answer. By the way, The Stolen Throne is great.

Meh.

The key here is that everyone would let go of the Warden and Origins if the writers and whatnot would just come out and say

"The Warden's story is done."

Or they could say

"We're coming back to the Warden later. Wait."

That would end all discussion of continuing the Warden's story, but if you ask if we are done with the Warden...silence. It's not like they would have to give us any idea what's going to happen next with the Warden.

People just want to know IF we'll see the Warden again so we can either start anticipating or forget about it, but I expect the response to this post will be....silence.

:)

Well I know some people will.  I will anyway.  I already feel after PAX (Before even) that Bioware is one of the best developers, especially when it comes to actually caring about your fans.  And I like how WH ended, and the cliffhanger did its job because now DA2 seems even farther off.

I like layered epilogues, full stories, fractured adventures. It's really quite interesting and breathes fresh air into the stagnant trend of gaming trilogies demanding the original hero star in every role. I think the legacy should be noticed, but breaking from the grain will be fun! Perhaps DA3 showing the child playing major roles or a third game revisiting both characters from each title in one epic finale~

On the topic of cliffhangers though, DG said it best - "Tough"

I don't mind that I paid for it. It was 7 bucks and that won't make me or break me.

They definitely could have tested it for bugs and actually giveen us an answer or 2 but I thought it was alright.
