I came across these while helping a friend get setup under Linux.  These link to each of the Premium module installers.  These are only useful to folks who purchased the Premium modules while the BioWare store was still selling them.  They're useless to anyone else.

These premium modules are unsupported in any and every way by BioWare/EA.  If you require assistance on them your best bet is to peruse the Premium Modules section on the old BioWare site.

You're a rogue!

A rogue the way I like it!
Quest nicely achieved.
Be proud, even more for the sharing, which sounds so much like caring.
English is a beautiful world.
Almost just like any other language actually.

@ Inayity

You said you found this for a Linux player? How did you manage using those files on a Linux?
'cause there is a downside: they're .exe files of the worst kind. The one which doesn't like Mac (& Linux I assume) users...
I'm Mac myself, and usually quite good at opening anything. No luck here.

I was thinking: Why don't we download those, convert them into a more universal format, to finally upload them on the vault?
We paid for those afterall, didn't we?

That's some Chaotic Good right there, if you'll excuse the geekism.

For the record, Atari: I'd happily buy Wyvern Crown of Cormyr if you allowed it to be made available through, say, GOG.com. Probably Pirates of the Sword Coast as well.

I would like to add to Dourtimes' comment in that I have been curious about both Pirates of the Sword Coast and Infinite Dungeons for a while now and would be willing to throw a few coins in the Atari/Bioware/Whoever fountain to play them. No additional support needed; just whatever the latest updated release was, on an as-is basis.

Cool! I was wanting to play these again, but I'd switched computers and didn't have 'em handy anymore.

Wow! You guys are awesome! Thank you so much! The same thing happened to me when I purchased these modules back in 2008. Since then they changed the whole freak'n Bioware store! :pinched:

My computers hardrive went dead and then I had to buy a new computer but lost these precious installers for the modules! I also lost all my save game files, patches, etc. I tried contacting Atari and Bioware regarding this issue numerous times. I even still have my email receipt for these modules that I brought at the Bioware store in 2008.
I still own the Neverwinter nights Diamond complilation. Thank god for you guys! I'll give it another shot! :)

Try again, they're all working just fine for me. If you're still having problems, try downloading them from another computer or something like that.

I also tried downloading the files to my USB Flash Drive, same thing the operation is timing out before it can save the file on my computer. I do not have access to another computer at this time. I sent you a private message here asking you if there is a way to send the files to me. Thanks.

It worked using Download Accelerator Plus (DAP)
I used that downloader many years ago. You can refer people to this program for others that are having downloading issues. Thanks dude! All that remains now is installing Neverwinter Nights Diamond first then installing the module installation files. Wish me luck!

For Linux players, there are several ways to extract windows executable installers, e.g. wine. Or you could just use these download links:

Kingmaker
ShadowGuard plus Witch's Wake
Pirates of the Sword Coast
Infinite Dungeons
Wyvern Crown of Cormyr

Thanks a lot, Skildron!
Those are .zip files, not like the first ones! I don't know how you found them, but it won't prevent me to play with!
Good job.
Okay, I check the first one... Splendid! 'works like a charm!
Thanks for the true gift. I shall save those ones.

Thanks very much, been looking for these for a while now. After some bugginess with NWN2 and Windows 7, I went back to try the first game only to discover the bioware store no longer offered downloads of modules I'd paid for! Needless to say, I was a little miffed.

I have still some unused gift-codes for these premium modules. Do anyone know how to redeem them or change them at least into the new BioWare Points?

When Bioware introduced this "authentication" system, one of the questions brought up was what would happen when the modules were no longer supported. Bioware said they would have this taken care of by then - well this is then and it's not taken care of. Even though I legally own all of the modules, I can no longer play them because they will not verify. I play my games for years and years - because of this, Bioware may have just lost a loyal customer.

Thanks for the links, though.

Has anyone gotten these downloads to authenticate when you try to play them?

Trasd, I know what you mean. I don't recall why but I had visited those old threads not too long ago. Unfortunately, BioWare isn't BioWare anymore and hasn't been so for a while. It's just another EA brand now. The people who made those promises way back when were genuine in their commitment. But they nolonger have control of such things, even if they are still working for EA.

Technically, the authentication of your Premium modules should be tied to the NWN CD keys used on your account when the Premium modules were purchased. Perhaps you've changed NWN keys since then? If you return to your old keys, the authentication should work. I don't own any Premium modules myself so I can't test this directly. Also, when the Authentication master server (for multi-player NWN gaming) goes down (and it does every once in a while) so does the authentication for the Premium modules.

I got the premium modules back, thanks for the links. They all work because I guess it recognizes my original CD keys. However I wish I could disable that strange background screen during character creation because it makes my PC lag so much it is nearly impossible to create a character. I guess I can use some other mod make the character, save it and then select a premade character and choose the one I made in a mod that does not use that terrible moving background screen that causes all the lag...it was not so bad on my other PC but the motherboard fried on my Athlon dual core and now I am using an older Pentium 4 system with an NVIDIA AGP graphics card and the lag at character creation makes it unuseable....

If you're talking about that annoying GPU heating red swirly crap, try downloading this and dropping it into your override folder. Should reduce the background completely to black. To remove it, just delete that file from your override folder, or rename it.

Hope that helps.

BTW, that one background is the most GPU intensive thing in NWN, even beyond the game itself.
