I have all the games and content from way back when, and I now have the Steam collection (it was super cheap, no longer have to worry about ruining my CDs).

How can I get these to install with the Steam version?

They were locked to your original cd keys.  You can edit your nwn cdkeyini file and replace the keys from steam with your original cd keys.

I'd buy these if they were on GOG.com as well. Since GOG.com has the Diamond version for sale, a good way to go about it would be to collect the non Diamon Modules into a package. That'd rock.

Just a little reminder for folks that are new to the community:

One of the best NWN Premium mods (I can't decide if it's 'the best' but it's in contention with WCoC for the title) was being worked on by Ossian studios (the studio that made Mysteries of Westgate) when the premium module program was cancelled. Ossian later released it as a free download on the vault. Don't forget to download Darkness over Daggerford.

Yes, I'll second that. DoD is a very good module.

Just for some balance: I consider DoD the worst written module available. It may have a lot of content, but it is COSTCO content. It goes for quantity, not quality. DoD isn't even in the same category as WCoC.

I found it unchallenging as well.

Yes, it is fun. But in a trashy way.

I'll agree that a lot of the content is less than stellar, but considering what was available when development began on it, DoD rates pretty good. Like any module, it has elements that just makes you want to yak - the cheese factory, but overall its not too shabby when you compare it with other "middle-ground" modules from that period.

Don't get me wrong, DoD is nowhere near being in the same league with WCoC or the Sanctum series. Typically, I rate modules according to how much fun I have playing them - and I had a lot of fun playing DoD. Perhaps my memories are slanted a bit, as I really HATE having to move through areas over and over and that world map system was a godsend for players.

I only bring it up because Bio has fixed the premium module authentication. The premium mods are no longer F2P and they are no longer available to purchase. Like it or not if you want a Bioware Premium Module you're SOL, but Daggerdale is still available and it's an excellent module.

No, they didn't fix it, It's more broken, I got legit dlc linked to my account and they don't work.

The problem now is that you no longer have a legit account on a server that no longer exists.

Your (and my) purchase of premium content was linked to the OLD Bioware account on Bioware website, which no longer exists. There are no links between that old system and this current EA system. So, there is no way for the DLC to be authenticated now, at all, until/unless Bioware turns that option off or recreates the old accounts/system/server with account data etc...

DOH! Well I am glad that I played the premium modules while I had the chance. I did want to play Wyvern Crown once more... but I should actually be making modules rather than playing them. :)

Sure, but until 3 or 4 days ago I still could play my Wyvern Crown of Cormyr and Pirates of The Sword Coast module without issues. Now I can't access them anymore.

Inayity, my eternal thanks. I had been so disappointed when I could not navigate back to the page to download these purchased mods. The time you took to gather these as well as the thoughtfulness in sharing is not wasted on this great community, I'm sure!

Thanks again!

Yes Sith... the premium module authentication is... umm...

Fixed? Unfixed?

Whatever. The premium modules are authenticating again. For the time being they are F2P again.

I can become a Bioware Fanboy again...might even buy DA3 just as a payment for having the Premium Modules again up and free...srsly.

Edit: Crap, just saw the title of the post :(...uninstalling, I'm too legal for that. Just hope one day BW will allow them to purchase again or make them abandonware for those of us who didn't have internet back then...

As the title says, it is to redownload if you previously purchased them.

As far a BW allowing the modules to be sold again, That is not there call, It was Atari that told them they had to stop selling them.   I am also not even sure that Atari could say it is ok to sell them again, Even if they could it would take the blessing of Wizards Of The Coast, Since the lawsuit is now over.

Anyone know how to locate old CD keys that were saved on the old bioware account.

There's a chance Chris Priestly could recover them for you if you send him a PM. Otherwise, all we can is wait for them to bring the old BioBoards back (their last public statement on the issue was that they were going to do that).

So the premium modules are F2P(free to public) so what keys do i use. my keys I got with my diamond, or the one that came with the modules when they sold them? if they are F2P why do I need a key. I have been away a little while any help to point me in the right direction would be nice. Thanks all.

You know... It would b great if Bioware could set-up one simple page with links to the NWN1 material, such as the last patches and the content provided by Inayty. Doesn't need to be a fancy page... Just something plain and simple :)

There is a site with that information arrranged in an easy-to-find way, though it's an independent one: The Neverwinter Nights Community Site.
