Thank you so much for these!

The only problem that I have, and I'm not sure how to fix it, is that when I try to play Kingmaker, ShadowGuard, or Witch's Wake I keep getting an error message saying that authentication has failed and I can only play the demo. I have been looking for hours for a way to fix this, and I haven't come across a solution yet.

Could one of you, perhaps, tell me what it is that I'm doing wrong?  It won't even let me install them off of my Neverwinter Nights Complete disc.

Can you disable the checking of the premium module's saves? It's really getting annoying and it increases load times greatly making quicksaves not viable at all.

Has anyone figured out a way to play these? Not even my premium modules that came with the diamond edition will work any more.

The download versions of the premium modules work all right. I just tried out once again. Since the master server is no longer online, Bioware made sure that the online request to authenticate the purchase of a premium module comes back positive in any case. Since then, all the premium modules are free4all.
Greetings

When I try to play Wyvern Crown, which I just downloaded from this thread, I get the message "Please wait while we authenticate... blah blah"

I waited a long time. Am I doing something wrong?

When I try to play Kingmaker, which installed when I installed the diamond edition, it says "Cannot load, files may be corrupt or failed to authenticate ownership of premium module".  Same for the other premium modules that came with the game.  I know they all used to work.

Hi Cygnus,

don't know if you're doing something wrong - do you have a working internet connection at the time you start the module? Otherwise it won't work. That's the only thing I can think of ATM. As for the installed files from diamond edition: Did you in any way modify your system (new windows version or reinstalled) or did you change the product keys of your nwn version? Perhaps the error message is simply stating the truth: files sometimes can become corrupted through a system or hard drive crash or something like that. Sorry that I cannot offer more help.

Greetings
Skildron

What I need is the Main Game, the nwm files. As it says mine are corrupt.
That's for Platinum.
As, If I re-install, I will loose everything. so if anyone wants to zip them and mail me then I would be sooooo grateful.
All I have been playing for a long time is mods and fancied starting from scratch again, just for old times sake. then, Prelude "your module may be corrupt" the same with chapter 1

LOL. The Bioware messaging policy strikes again. Check your friends, dalethfc.

What if you only have the receipt number and not the authentication codes?

@koundog1 I've not tried to download any modules yet, but on my copy of the receipts it says "Module registered for play with CD key: [my CD key for the base game--not SoU or HotU]. There's a receipt number but not a separate authentication code for the modules. That said, it sounds like the modules may no longer check for a CD key at all. While it made sense to tie them to a player's copy of the base game at the time they were originally issued, it makes much less sense to make the modules unavailable to players who may have acquired a new copy/edition during the interim between then and now.

Oops, no!

Below the download now link, there's a final block of text:

Purchased on: ...
Paid by ...
Receipt #...
AuthCode ...
I.P. Address: ...

No idea if they ask for the AuthCode when installing.  :(

Does anyone happen to know where to find a reference for the witchwake subraces?

I know there were several, but the only one I can recall (and get to work) is 'assimar'.

As far as I know, it used the subrace system made by Shir'le E. Illios. After opening up Witch's Wake in the toolset, I found the subrace system. Although, I'm not sure how assimar is included, unless it was updated for the Remastered version of the module to include it.

if( nRace == RACIAL_TYPE_DWARF)
            {
                if (sSubRace == "Gold Dwarf")
                {
                    sSRItem="golddwarfsubrace";
                    nValid=1;
                }
                if (sSubRace == "Shield Dwarf")
                {
                    nValid=1;
                }
            }
            if( nRace == RACIAL_TYPE_ELF)
            {
                if (sSubRace == "Moon Elf")
                {
                    nValid=1;
                }
                if (sSubRace == "Sun Elf")
                {
                    sSRItem="sunelfsubrace";
                    nValid=1;
                }
                if (sSubRace == "Wild Elf")
                {
                    sSRItem="wildelfsubrace";
                    nValid=1;
                }
                if (sSubRace == "Wood Elf")
                {
                    sSRItem="woodelfsubrace";
                    nValid=1;
                }
            }
            if( nRace == RACIAL_TYPE_HALFLING)
            {
                if (sSubRace == "Strongheart Halfling")
                {
                    sSRItem="strongheartsubrace";
                    nValid=1;
                }
                if (sSubRace == "Lightfoot Halfling")
                {
                    nValid=1;
                }
            }

FP!

It was reworked for the remastered premium version, because there were quite a number of subraces in it, around 4 or 5 subraces per race.  There was a page on the old bioware webpage with the info, but that went buhbye a long while ago.
