Which character do you think is the easiest to romance. (Besides Zevran, with him all you have to do is flirt)

Zevran. I've never tried to romance him, and he keeps trying to jump in my pants.

Oh, besides him?

Morrigan is pretty easy to sleep with. Leli takes a lot longer. Can't comment on Alistair, never played a female character.

By 'romance' do you mean 'sleep with'? They are all easy to activate the romance of. Just tell Alistair he's handsome, make a suggestive comment to Morrigan, or try to have a friendly hair discussion with Leliana and they're all convinced you're together.

Morrigan has motives to get you in bed. Zevran is just a perv. So... sense you can't pick Zevran, Morrigan is the easiest to romance.

I agree, they are all extremely easy to start romance with, just talk to them normally and don't be mean and they seem to think you want to get it on. When you try to say to them that they've gotten the wrong idea they get all upset and you lose 10 to 20 approval, even though you weren't even trying to romance them. Luckily there's heaps of gifts to get them back up after they mistakenly think you are romantically interested in them.

I say Leliana.  It may take longer to get her into bed but simply by virtue of not being a ****** you win her over.  It's like Liara if you aren't a jerk and you don't flat out tell her you're not interested you get it.

Morrigan may jump you as soon as humanly possible but keep in mind what she makes you do to truly win her over.

Hmmm, to actually romance Zevran, it takes a bit more. That is, he falls in love later than any of the other characters. But he does, like the others, end up falling in love. Then his whole attitude about sex changes. No, seriously. It does. Even he has trouble believing it!

I say Leliana and Morrigan because you can start the romances as soon as you meet them

Leliana if you're female. She romances you whether you like it or not. Though she's hard as hell to get in the sack.

Alistair was the easiest for me, I haven't tried Morrigan since I haven't rolled a male warden. Though towards the end even though I was just platonically friendly with Lelianna and Zev they both acted like I was breaking up with them. And their approval was warm or friendly, not adore or love. The mind, it boggles. ;)

With Leliana, it's a known bug if you're marrying royalty, she breaks up with you even if you're not an item. Zevran, that's odd. Your game must have gotten glitched along the way. He has tons of bugs, but that's not one of them.

I wouldn't be surprised, I've had some interesting glitches come up in the past.

I would have to say Leliana, her romance is so easy to start if you are not paying attention. Alistair is just begging to fall in love with anyone. Haven't done the Morrigan romance, but I would say Zev's romance, in spite of all his talk, is one of the hardest to get going. He gives you every opportunity to leave him and has no confidence that you would actually want to stay with him. He's not hard to get in bed with, but romance..., that is a much different story.

There's a conversation with Leli where you think you're letting her down gently by saying "I think we should be friends" (and you can then say "I'm a warden, duty comes first" to gain approval) and she still thinks you're an item. That girl is hard to say no to.

Alistair, and Leli are probably the easiest. Morrigan, and Zevran are harder though not impossible since they'll resist as the romance progresses unless you know what your doing.

Zevran and Morrigan are easy to sleep with, not romance. It's funny that people say the Leliana starts accidentally because my male PC got her to nearly +100 without a whiff of it, maybe because of his lack of interest in clothes and shoes. Alistair on the other hand seems to have a ton of romantic triggers that I wouldn't consider obvious come-ons. I'm still not sure why (other than fairly high approval) my elf mage got the rose--was it the "I do like you, and not for your blood" line? That struck me as friendly reassurance rather than flirtation.

Leliana is really really hard not to romance...as a female. She's really more interested in female Wardens then male ones even if she is bi.

She seems to be very much of a "Only if it's you." Sexuality when it comes to a male Warden.

They're all fairly easy to get a romance started with, but each has thair own challenges in keeping it going or progressing further.

Just a note: telling Alistair that he's handsome is the quickest and most obvious trigger, but but cuts you off from some nice dialogue at Redcliffe. Asking him to your tent does the same for the sex scene.

I agree.  One of my fem!Wardens made the mistake of saying that she gave him his mother's amulet because he's special.  I just meant a special friend - and the only other surviving Warden.  Next thing I know, I'm getting a rose and when I demurred, he stayed interested.

Once I understood Leliana, I find it easy to avoid her romance. The main problem is, if you ask her if Marjolaine was special, it's a romance starter -- but it's a natural question for a woman to ask.

The thing is, with Zevran, he's more prone to dump the warden than the other companions (yes, including Alistair, though Ali does have one spectacular dumping scene of course). But he'll break up with the warden at least twice that I know of in the early relationship, and once more late in the relationship for various reasons (twice if a HN is getting married, but only under ONE situation -- usually he'll stay). Plus if you get his jealousy talk, he will pretty much try to push you into choosing the other person as he thinks he has nothing to offer the warden.

But I like that about the character -- that he will dump the warden under certain circumstances.

Edit: Am I alone in preferring the talk Alistair has at "love" if he gives it after the warden is having sex with him?  Gah, "I want to do ... IT ...  with you at camp," vs, "I want no one but you for ever."  But then again, maybe I'm strange/

never got ninja'd by Alistair, his romance triggers have always been pretty obvious to me. When I wanted him in friend zone, he stayed there. The only one who ever ninja'd me was leliana, and on every play through to boot, until someone managed to create a patch that fixed it. Even then, I still have to watch out for the red0-head Ninja of Love.

That happened to me on my very first spoiler-free playthrough. And what makes that dialogue even more annoying is the fact that there is no line such as "Of course I remembered, you're a friend." for a female Warden the way there is for a male Warden. I had tried so hard not to romance Alistair on that very first playthrough (I wanted to be true to Zevran instead) and then I am stuck with either choosing that line, or some mocking line instead. >< It's like the devs thought that a WardenXWarden romance is the most romantic thing ever so the Alistair romance is almost forced on the female Warden.

The most important thing about DA:O romances is to get the romance fixes if you can. The modding community has done stellar work in resolving the many, many glitches that can occur. ejoslin, Qwyn and others have done a wonderful job of working their way through the toolset.

As far as bedding goes Morrigan was by far the easiest. Can be done pretty much as soon as you finish Lothering. To get them to fall in love with you Alistair or Lellianna were the easiest they both come on heavily to you as soon as you pay them any attention and want to be with you forever.
