I have used the Human noble origin several times atleast 5 times when creating a new character. Well today I felt like rolling a dual-wield warrior. But when I attempted to start a new game as a human noble, it will consistantly get stuck at the loading screen. I tried starting a new game as with other origins dwarf noble, dwarf casteless, mage, dalish elf, alienage elf. And I had no issues begining a new game with those origins, they game loaded up and started the cutscene immediately after I finished character creation.

I have tried 4 times now and the game will simply freeze up attempting to load the human origin story. I have loaded old saves they have no problem loading what so ever.

Note: These attempts were made AFTER patch 1.05. Before 1.05 I have never encountered this problem. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, it's a real issue.  Many of us have had this. It's not truly game breaking, but it seems like it at the time.  It's one of those issues that "appear" to be somehow related to the PSN/ EA Network /DA servers /DLC check code etc...

Oh ok, well I don't have a habit of visiting these forums often. Well I had never experienced it before, so I thought perhaps it was related to patch 1.05 because it only occurred after that patch. Then I tried it again today and there was no problem loading up. So I thought maybe it was just a hiccup, even games that don't have any real issues seem to occasionally freeze up.

thing is all the new patch did was install the trophies for Witch Hunt. I have been noticing some freezing issues alot more lately. though and I never had them before.
