Lets discuss this. How did keeper20, or K20 take down that krogan? tiny bug vs big strong krogan, how?! and whyed it disable that camera where it was working, is it starting to open the citdel relay to let the reapers stroll on in? Also howed he get stuck in that box? was he sneaking through vents and fell in a keeper feeding thing? was elias kelahm draging the turian councler? i bet that will get dismissed.

I was half expecting to see the keeper pick up the body and throw it into the recycling system where it gets turned into food for the residents of the citadel..

I think Keeper 20 is TIMs secret weapon. I think Shepard was just a test subject for the Lazarus project. The real propose was resurrect Keeper 20 who was originally shot by Saren (seen in one of the final cut scenes in ME1). I think Keeper 20 is going to be final boss in ME3.

Where is Keeper 20 located? I also think we have more to find out about them now they are free of the Reaper program to open the relay at least..

The keepers are generally very benign and unnoticed but I wouldn't be surprised if they had some hidden potential or unknown strengths.

This suggests something: what if the Reapers somehow manage to regain control of the Keepers?  We might actually end up fighting some in ME3.

Kolyat only kills him if you botch the mission.  If you succeed, he's just wounded in the cutscene.  Also: he wasn't on the catwalks, but the floor.

Keeper 20 is really a serial killer.

Well, another possibility is, that we figure out how to send our own signals to the keepers. I am thinking of a Joker-like mission as Keeper 20, who - immune to indoctrination - infiltrates the reaper mothership and uploads the virus. Effect: Keeper 20 is the real hero, celebrated by the council ("Ah yes, Shepard ... we have dismissed that human") while Shep and LI quietly retire to the apartment on Intai'sei.

Is Keeper 20 part of the 21 you scanned in ME1?

Keeper 20 is actually the first keeper Spectre.  That krogan was a threat to galactic stability.

You know, that's probably the case.  Pretty good catch, I must say.

To be honest.. my original theory about the Shadow Broker was that it was really the Keepers of the Citadel. Think about it.

The Keepers are everywhere in the Citadel. The Citadel is the communications hub of the Galaxy. The Shadow Broker in ME 1 only wanted access to information that would not pass through the Citadel, or would be too heavily encrypted to be easily accessed. And the Reapers would want a "state of the galaxy" report when they relayed in. Add to that the Keepers acting independently because of the Prothean tampering...

Ah well.

 I so heard Avinas voice there.

@StarcloudSW: That solution would have been so great.Don't get me wrong, the design of the SB was good and I liked the final battle but I was somewhat disappointed of the SB just being another monstrous alien. Now the Keeper solution would have been really elegant IMO. Well, there is still the chance the Keepers actually manipulate the information given to the SB (Liara) by controlling the little VI drone. Keeper 20 is just a distraction...

... and with this thread, we all fell for it!

AFAIK, when the Protheans were eliminated the Reapers signaled the Keepers to take over the Citadel. However, a small colony of Prothean scientists in Ilos were able to intercept that message and they were able to avoid Reapers in a remote planet. They were able to create a backdoor to the Citadel and they made sure that the Reapers couldn´t message to the Keepers any more. Because of that Saren was forced to look after this colony in Ilos in order to gain the backdoor to the Citadel and to open the Citadel Relay.

When we talk about the Keeper 20 I wonder if it is possible to reverse that Prothean "sabotage" on the Keepers. If that is possible then it would be likely that the Reaper Agents would try to do that. Although the Reapers were able to eliminate the Protheans still Protheans achieved to at least temporary disable the Reaper designed trap at the Citadel.

Keeper 20 is the annoying Keeper that you couldn't ever find cause he was always running around some other place in Mass Effect 1. I think.

The Keepers couldn't walk, much less run, in ME1.
