I got the game on the 360, yet for the past few days, while I am connected, it hasn't updated my character's progress..
Is there anything to force an update on either end? Or get it to accept?

You'll first want to read the FAQ, as it details some possible reasons for a delay in character updates. And since the site is going through so many issues (as it's in beta) it could actually take days for info to show up, if ever.
In essence, don't rely on it until it's ironed out.

I'm playing DA:O since friday. My achievments and screenshots are updated on my social site, but my character hasn't updated yet. It is still shown as level 1, but i'm level 14. is this normal?

Ah, groovy, thanks. I honestly was looking FOR something like that, an FAQ here but I was admittedly having some trouble navigating around a bit. My apologies for the misplacing of the original post. x_X
