Ok, I have played Dragon Age about 3 times now, not counting partial playthroughs or add-ons.
I started another game, hoping to get the achievement for killing over 1000 dark-spawn. I know I passed the number, but I have seen reports that it has to be the main character doing this, and can not involve the party members.
The problem is that I am in the Korcari Wilds and the game locks up almost instantly when playing. If I move about 10% from the load point, try to open the character menu, or the game menu, it locks up and I need to restart my XBox.
This does not happen with other games, as I was playing Mass Effect 2 after a restart with no issues for over an hour.
Here is everything I have tried so far :
Clear cache.
With it on the HDD.
With it on the DVD.
re-seating the HDD.
Re-installing it on the HDD.
I have ALL the DLC for the game, and so far the only thing that has changed from the previous games and this one is having the "Witch Hunt" DLC.
Now, this is using the same disk I have had from Christmas of last year. I do whatever I can to keep all my games in like new condition.
Obviously, this is very iterating and now I am wondering if this might have to do with the "Witch Hunt" DLC.
Any advice on where to go from here?
Starting another game, only get freezing.
