It's not in my inventory, is this a glitch or what?

starfang doesn't import to anything beyond origins... that I know of. Neither does the Warden Commander Armor from the same DLC, Warden's Keep.

OK cool, thanks for clearing that up. Bummer, it's such a sweet sword.

I have Starfang at the start of Witch Hunt. But the Warden Commander Armour has disappeared. I simply have no idea what is going on with this.

BioWare have said that they have no plans to actually support DLC post-release, except for extremely major flaws. They also claim they have no goals of ensuring interoperability between the DLCs, except for the Warden's Keep stuff carrying over into Awakening (which they ****ed up royally the first time around). Essentially this means that aside from bonus items that work in the main game, and Stone Prisoner/Warden's Keep, no DLCs are compatible with any other DLCs. Too bad, but hey, why bother with proper support when you can just spend those resources making another paid DLC and make millions from your legions of idiot fans?

Odd... I had starfang, and was expecting to lose it (using an epilogue save to avoid DR glitch) and it was gone.  It was apparently replaced with "warden's companion" sword.   I think the WC armor is supposed to be replaced also, but apparently is not(I was not using WC armor).

Said the man who bought Awakenings and apparently, several other DLC, according to his profile.

Yes, I did buy several DLCs and the expansion.  You may also note that I haven't bought any DLC for Dragon Age post-Awakening, however, because of the poor support the game has received since that point.  I am not going to buy any more Dragon Age DLC until BioWare decides to provide the necessary updates to their game, nor will I buy Dragon Age 2.  If that's never, then great, they won't be getting my money, and I can spend it on a more deserving developer, like CD Projekt.

Starfang was awesome in Origins but beyond that, you get better gear quickly. I think in WH they give you some tier 7 warden's long sword that is close to it in specs. Both blades that the elf companion has are better than starfang.

Hey Loomis would you share the player mod I'm bummed at loosing Starfang not only was it a great balance for The Keening blade but I had it tricked up with all my top Runes, It's poor form for Bioware to force removing part of a character build. I was happy with Bloodline as my Dark-spawn damager, I don't really care for another one, sure wardens companion is extra bonus but that bonus is bound to dark-spawn, I have Topsider to switch in for undead.--- So am I going to lose Wardens companion when I go to awakening from witch hunt? Half of the game is building your character sourcing weapons and Armour to suit your style. are you meant to sell of all the stuff that you built your attributes around before the end of origin so you can afford to go through the costly process of buying new runes in awakening? ----poor form---

Is this supposed to be a bad thing, or are we supposed to just complain about Bioware based on pure speculation?  I also bought Awakening, but it was installed for about 5 minutes before I noticed the glaring flaws and have chosen to wait for a proper patch before completing the expansion.  Every Bioware product for Dragon Age after Return to Ostagar has been riddled with bugs or of such poor quality that its price makes it cost prohibitive to purchase.  A clear sign that Bioware has abandoned Dragon Age in favor of their rushed sequel.

This mod here: http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=883 will allow you to use the items from other content. There's another mod listed on the page which will fix the weapon/armor textures as well.

Personally it's just bad form to sell content that doesn't work with other content.

the only reason the stuff up to return to ostagar works is because it was supposed to be in the game before and was removed so that EA could charge for content that was supposed to be there in the first place, the rest is just rushed together stuff along the vein of the items that you can pay cash to get a small boost. My favorite part was that to support this DLC they made patchs that effectively bug the game out for computers and never fix it.

Thanks Mashiki,

Hopefully that hit's the spot

Does anyone know if there is a thread that deals with importing my character from the end of witch hunt to awakening I can't seem to find one (or do it for that matter)
