Hi

I wish to move all save games, mods and other content store on my C drive by default to my D partition which has loads more space, I've tried modifying the daoriginsconfig file in the data directory with the paths I want files stored but DA seems to constantly creates everything in my documents/bioware/dragon age by default, do I need to look into the registry?

No need for complicated steps. Simply move your My Documents folder using the Windows Move feature. To know more about this, google "relocate documents folder" or "move documents folder" to find the method adapted to your version of Windows.
