All of the sudden I cant select anything during gameplay, All the red squares dont turn blue and selectable when I look at them, they just stay red so now Im stuck.
Game is suddenly unplayable

This can happen when your framerate is too low. Reduce the graphical quality and/or resolution and see if that fixes anything.

nvm, seems to work perfect now. Loaded another playthrough which I never had a problem with and then loaded the save I had problem with, no glitches at all. Maybe was the framerate aswell, dont know

I asked about the laptop because I figured maybe your GPU was getting overheated and dropping its clock speed, resulting in the frame rate drop past the acceptable limits Fredvdp is talking about. That's the best hypothesis I can give you.
The plausibility of that depends on how long you were playing when you had this problem. If you ever had it right after booting the comp from a cold state and then immediately playing ME2, heat probably doesn't explain it. But if this has only ever occurred during a long play session, heat could well be it.
