I support her as well. I've had both a HN rogue and warrior, both of which married Anora. She's definitely a different person if you make it clear you'll support her for the throne and spare her father. She is a politician however, and she'll do what's in her own best interest. She clearly is a bit worried about the possibility Eamon/Alastair will take her throne from her. If you discuss Alastair with her, it's quite clear she thinks Alastair will be a puppet and Eamon will be pulling the strings. I really think a Coulsland/Anora marriage is the best result for Ferelden.
A Thread for Anora, and those who support her.

I like Anora well enough. In my previous playthrough, I had her married a Hardened Alistair while sparing Loghain. As interesting as being the ruler (or more literally the rulers' husband) sounds, my Cousland was more interested in traveling with Leliana.

Basically this has gotten to the point where one person refuses to admit they were wrong, and made a mistake even though ten other people have shown evidence to the contrary. There's no such slide.
( I'm aware this is like, 10 months old, but I really just had to respond to a post that contained such arrogance )
Not at all? Both people who were defending the slide admited that it seemed likely they were wrong, they did no refusing as you claim. However, they are disputing that they remembered the slide, and I remember it too. I've had many Anora&Alistair pairings, and I distinctly remember reading 'a new Golden Age was ushered in', in exactly that phrase.

Yes, that phrase was definitely there. What that means might be debatable, but the fact that the slide says that, isn't.

My canon Warden stuck her on the throne but killed her father. I don't love her, but I respect her. I know if you warn her you plan to kill her father (my Warden doesn't know the alternative is to make him a warden), she's much less pleasant, but I can't really blame her for wanting to save her father,. She also has no real reason to assume she won't face execution along with him, so I can't really blame her. Even after you kill her father, you can talk out of executing Alistair, when she could view it as a petty eye-for-an-eye affair.. She's a pragmatist and willing to compromise, which are generally good traits in a ruler.

There's a pretty good Anora-M Cousland fanfic that just came out on ff.net called Corin. The M Cousland has a counter offer for Anora-she can agree to co-rule with him, or he'll make Alistair King and take the post of Chancellor. It's a 6 parter so far, but I hope to see more from the author.

Anora is to Ferelden what Bhelen is to Orzammar - which would make Alistair Harrowmont, I suppose. LOL.
She is simply the better ruler. I always put her on the throne - either alone, with my Cousland, or with hardened Alistair. I rather liked my Cousland hooking up with her, if only because of how much of a slap in the face it was to Howe - I hope he liked his precious teyrnir, because now I'm the freakin' king. And I didn't have to betray anyone's family like a coward to get it - I'm just good like that.
The best result overall though from my POV is hardened Alistair and Anora ruling, so you can spare Loghain without Alistair running off like a pantywaist. My Warden is more concerned with rebuilding and running the order than playing politics at the royal court.

My warden supported Anora for queen alongside Alistair at the Landsmeet, but then she also whispered "Alistair is mine." in her ear before walking out to the ticker-tape parade.
