Completed DAO at LVL 23 Mage. DAO came has all DLCs installed, including Stone Prisoner, RTO, Blood Dragon Armor, et al. Completed the campaign. Purchased the DAA DISK when it was rellseased and completed that at level 30. Started the DLC Golems of Amgarrak and completed that at Lvl 31 Mage. Started Witch Hunt DLC and realized I wanted to changa a portion of my character.
- I save frequently throughout my games
- I usually create new saves right before critical boss battles
After playing a less than 1/3 of Witch Hunt DLC, I save that character and wanted to import this charcter - LvL31 Mage into DAA. However, when I open the LOAD GAME interface and select "Swtich Character" I can only switch between games I've played in either DAO, DAA or that specifc DLC (like Golems of A and Witch Hunt). When I select NEW GAME I can only select ONE character import and that's the Lvl 23 Mage from the end of DOA.
I suspect that once you start the DLC Golems or Witch Hunt, you are not able to go back with THAT CHARACTER and play DAA - or let's say you want to play DAO, then Golems, then Awakenings - you are not able to import the Golems saves/character into Awakenings.
I'm in US, Texas. XBox 360. All DLC except Awakenings was purchased through Xbox Live.
After explaining this in a 30 min chat (part here)
Keith: As you are not able to view the DLC under your account on Bioware

This is the escalated response I received this morning:
Moing to your issue, To import your Dragon Age: Origins character into Awakening:
- Select IMPORT FROM ANOTHER MODULE at the start menu.
- From the next screen, choose the character you wish to play as, then click IMPORT
-
You may choose characters who died at the completion of the base game.
They will simply begin - Awakening as though they survived.
If the character had not yet reached level 18, they will be elevated to that level instantly.
If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know.
Thank you,
Victor

It's clear to me that I'm still not explaining myself I guess or they are not seeing this limitation - or they assume that this isn't happening. Is there anyone else out there having this exact same problem?
Thanks
