I purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition through Impulse last night and was given 3 codes. I registered all three and on the download page of the bioware social network, it only gave me access to the 5 cerberus dlc and the preorder armour dlc. Ingame the cerberus network shows up as connected. I am basically missing the collectors amour, assault rifle, and Incisor Rifle. I contacted EA support via chat on how to get this resolved and the guy really did not want to help it seems and from what he was telling me did not exist. Here is the chat if someone is able to make sense of what he is meaning:

yah thats up. That actually was working before, but I dont see any
redemtion or download buttons ingame. Just the bioware page where it
shows all the promotion items you have accessed for and lets you
download them there. Seems like it
shows I have access to everything except for the specific digital deluxe

Arthur: I just asked a question and original problem was not
resolved... let me help clarify this for you Gary. The cerberus network
code is included with both standard and collector's edition of mass
effect 2. That is working and thats not the problem. The problem is the
specific digital deluxe items (collector's armor, assault riffle, and
Incisor Rifle) are not showing up still. Those are the items you get
with the digital deluxe edition.

Arthur: the cerberus network area is the laptop that opens up on the
right of the main screen right? yah it shows up, but dont see any other
buttons to access it, its just an information screen that tells you that
you are connected to the network along with descriptions of the other

Since he was basically at the end just blew me off and said basically "it will work, bye!" i went into both the main menu and actual ingame and there was no access to the cerberus network other than the main menu showing a laptop saying im connected to the network. So basically I am back at square 1 again. Any help would be appretiated of what to do next!

It's strange that you got the Inferno Armor but not the DDE stuff. When I pre-ordered my DDE through Impulse, they gave me one code that granted all of them. (Like you, 3 codes in all: one for the game, one for the Cerberus Network, one for pre-order/DDE equipment.)



Are you sure Impulse sold you a DDE? You should have a Bonus Content folder and it should say "Digital Deluxe Edition" in the Impulse Games menu. That might be the mix-up. Or if you do have a DDE, it sounds like maybe Impulse gave you a non-DDE code.

Sorry, I really don't have another advice and no patients to investigate further into buggy DRM systems. Were you one of those kids that used Lego only to build the things displayed on the box? ;-)

This is what Impulse gave me if this helps. Sounds like its similar to what you got:

I got all the digital bonuses (aka bonus folder) which is the art book, soundtrack and all that. Seems like the only thing that is missing is the darn ingame items ugh. On the download page for my registered codes, it gives me the 5 cerberus downloads and the preorder bonus armor (im guessing impulse just gives them out still). But the collector's armor/assault rifle and the other rifle remains to be missing on the download page.

Is there somewhere ingame where you can access the downloads (and also choose to download whatever)? If there is maybe it will show up there. I see where you can click on the links to buy the future release dlc, but did not find anything about my DDE items there.

Nope, Profile -> Your registered promotions on this site is the place to go for ME2 DLC. If they're not there, you don't have them.

This sounds like a bad code (i.e. a non-DDE code). I'd contact Impulse and tell them you seem to have been given a code for just the Inferno armor when you were supposed to get one of the DDE edition codes.

Thanks for the help. I'll contact Impulse and see what they say. Impulse is usually more customer friendly so I'm sure they will take care of me. What you said about giving the wrong code type does make the most sense. Maybe EA should hire haha

In game, I only was ever prompted for my cerberus code, but I downloaded almost all the DLC's. Most came with the cerberus network. I don't think I was ever prompted for my activation code, or got the items.

I have steam Digital Deluxe, andy ideas?

On the left menu, click on "My Games -> Register Games", and register your copy of ME2.
The click on "Profile -> Registered Game Promotions" and any DLC you are entitled to will appear there.
