Secondly, your focus on breasts being the only way a female being is attractive isn't doing your gender's reputation any favors.

I distance myself from this man.

The question reminds me the Babylon 5 TV series, where captain Sheridan romanced with Delenn, the ambassador of the race called minbari - a race who accidentally almost wiped out humanity a few decades earlier. That was a good plot in B5, a lot of humans went mad because of this.

Asari do not prefer mating with their own, since they believe it stagnates the genepool and produces throwbacks like the Ardat-Yakshi. Hence the "pureblood" insult, as Asari look down on those who are born from Asari exclusive pairings.

The whole stagnates the gene pool is complete BS because Asari children don't inherit the father traits they're basically clones of their mother.
Asari who have embraced the genetic diversity of mating with other species prefer to REPRODUCE with other species.

I'm saying they find their own species more attractive meaning they would prefer to sleep with their own species.
Liara even said some joinings are just a one time encounter in which the father leaves while the mother raises the child

I'm sure it could stir trouble with those like terra firma or joram talid. People who are "stuck on stupid." Kasumi mentions how a lot of people (on the Normandy) want to see Shepard and Garrus together. I don't think it will cause chaos and fiery political debates, as interspecies relationships aren't unheard of, but I do think it might cause some to raise their eyebrows (or, in the case of racists, just give them more fuel/another target of their hate).

And that's most if not all of the Asari. Liara herself said that she got a lot of crap growing up on Thessia (the asari homeworld) for being a "pureblood". And there's a conversation on Ilium near the Baria Frontiers kiosk between two Asari about purebloods being a waste of genetic potential and should be banned from breeding. Sure there are asari who don't mind mating with their own race (Benezia, Aethyta, Erinya and Samara), but as a whole the Asari race have deemed mating with other species in the way to go and those who think otherwise are social pariahs.

Anyway, we should stop discussing this as this is getting off topic.

In Relevation interspecies is actually VERY common. (People and their fetishes...)

And Salarians are don't have parts and only mate for breeding. So a Salarian-Alien relationship would be impossible. They'd be friends only.

I would say very common with Asari sense they will sleep with anything.

Other species I wouldn't say Very common but not unheard of.

The only species that a good number of humans would find sexual appealing is Asari

Turian females have no ass or breast  so no thank youImage IPB
Krogans no thank youImage IPB
Salarians no thank youImage IPB
Batarians no thank youImage IPB
Hanar common in Japanese tentacle rapeImage IPB
Elcor no thank youImage IPB

Quarians are possibility because they are mammals and resemblee humans except for the three finger and two large toesImage IPB
Geth could be used as sex toys.Image IPB
Drell depends if the female have breastImage IPB

First, that top bold sentence should say "humans attacted to females" not just "humans."

Secondly, your focus on breasts being the only way a female being is attractive isn't doing you nor your gender's reputation any favors. You sound like an 11-year-old boy.

I agree I am biased because I am male.

Honestly I believe if their was a poll just for males about which species they find the most attractive 95% or more of the voters would pick Asari and Quarians
Because they look similar to human females

Personality is one thing but their has to be some level of physical attractiveness.
You sound like a feminist.  I'm just being honest that whole personality is all that matters is crap. You need a purpose to talk to someone.

Its a religous choice I believe

Most Asari follow the Siari the "All is one" religion.  Asari who embrace this religion are more likely to breed with other species.

Worshipping of the Goddess is a minor religion but was the first Asari religion.  Those who follow this religion are more likely to breed with their own species

All I am saying Asari would find their own species more attractive. Just like Human males would find Human females the most attractive.

Not all Asari are alike their is likely Asari in Asari space who exclusively mate with their own species.  What  you see on Illium Omega and the Citadel doesn't reflect what goes on in Thessia and other Asari worlds

It's stated many times that Asari who mate with other Asari are frowned upon. Most Asari don't like purebloods. While this is not specifically about attraction, it's certainly a motivator.

Asari DNA, instead of mutating to provide variation, finds that mutation in differences provided by species different than Asari. It's not religious.

Maybe you should learn what a "wall of text" is.

The OP used paragraphs, no wall of text to be seen.

Maybe you should learn to compare post times to edited times.
The OP fixed it after my comment, which was the whole point behind it.

EDIT: but I suppose one good edit deserves another, so I'll edit mine before more of you come after me with e-pitchforks. :o

Frankly I see Tali's romance being the biggest political ****storm. Some humans may not like turians, but Turians are respected in the galactic community. Quarians on the other hand are widely disliked and distrusted. What I want for ME3 is this:

A small side-mission, where Al-Jilani (the punchable reporter) ambushes you again, but asks about your partner. This could work out for everyone.

Jacob/Miranda - Cerberus operatives

Garrus - A turian?

Thane - ex-assassin

Jack - ex-con

Tali - A QUARIAN?

And on. Not exactly a huge thing to ask, but would give the relationship more depth with little effort in comparison to a romance pack.

The Baria Frontiers Representative and the Asari with the Krogan tell Shepard thaat's pure crap aliens just randomize DNA.  Which other Asari can also do.  Asari when mating only can use the same traits from other species that are similar to the Asari

If you played ME1 Liara tells you
"Asari pairings are not common FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPRODUCTION. When Asari mate with other Species they make the Asari strongrer but if its an exclusive Asari pairing it weakens the species nothing is gained.or so conventional wisdom would hold"

Liara thinks its complete BS that mating with other species is not  better then with your own species.  The Asari would have died out if they didn't mate with their own species.

I think its religous because the Siari are "Alll life is one" that means their open to other species

I think Benezia raised Liara to worship the Goddess not completely sure but we know Samara worshipped the Goddess and she's almost a matriarch which makes me think worshipping the Goddess is more common for Asari in or close to the Matriarch stage.  Aria thought Liara was hot in Redemption and she's over a 1000 years old

Because Samara and Liara worship the Blue Asari Goddess they see nothing wrong with mating with their own species.
Ardart Yakshi are EXTREMELY RARE and who says it only happen in purebloods.

Human females are shapely unlike turian female.  That's why Garrus didn't know the correct way to compliment femshep
Straight male humans most likely wouldn't be interested in turian females sense their used to human females.

I'm not sure what effect the Garrus romance will have on the Mass Effect universe, if any, but I did find the Garrus romance to be more than a little creepy. Turians have armored skin and claws, look like ostriches, and have mandibles. The Garrus romance is getting dangerously close to tentacle porn. What's next, a Hanar romance?

Garrus is an awesome character, but a human female Shep sleeping with him is a little disgusting.
