This is something I have seen talked about all over but felt the need to talk about in a dedicated thread, and I apologize in advance if a thread like this has already been done.

Anyway, as I was playing the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, and being blown away by the quality of the experience, it only served to reenforce something that I have believed for a long while: as eager as I am to finish up the story of Commander Shepard and the Reapers, I firmly believe that this is something that should not be rushed. The latest DLC was so high quality that the story between ME2 and ME3 can fleshed out even further and give the ME3 team plenty of time to polish off the experience. Everyone, myself included, is expecting great things from this finale, and are expecting a huge, complete, and heart stopping epic conclusion. With expectations so high I say it would be fair to give Bioware all the time they need to deliver. Personally, I would not cry if ME3 was released say, the summer of 2012. It would offer plenty of extra time for development, lots of people would have plenty of spare time due to various summer vacations, and with summer typically being a dry period for quality AAA releases it would also help in the sales department too. So I say to Bioware, use all the time you can get out of EA to get it done right, and NOT done quickly, and I say to YOU my fellow Mass Effect fans to support this view point as everyone wins in the end, and as the old cliche goes, "good things come to those who wait".

Please don't resurrect 5-month-old threads.

End of line.
