I have it installed, well I believe I do, but think it may have been corrupted, meh, didn't matter. I just changed her to a female cleric and that looked alright.

It's the female dwarves mod from 1pp you need, but it's get broken by BG2 Tweak's component  "Change Avatar When Wearing Robes or Armor (Galactygon)".

To avoid this bug, use the "Improved Improved Galactycon avatar switching" component from 1pp's Thieves Galore instead.

Hey! Long time since I played BG and I recently installed BGT.

Im looking for some assistance when it comes to create an Evil/Neutral party. Whats essential is that it should be relatively easy/fast to get the group of 6 as I dont like playing with characters I know Ill replace later on.

* PC - Swashbuckler
* Edwin - Mage found in Nashkel
* Kagain - Fighter found in Beregost

Then Im looking at:
* Viconia (Peldvale) but I wonder how easy she would be to get right from the start? I only have vauge memories of this, but you'll have to kill some who has her captive.
* An archer - Eldoth? (Cloakwood 3) which means Ill find him rather late to my taste, but who else is there? An option is Kivan (High Hedge) who I can get right of the bat, however he's of Good alignment and might disturb the party dynamic (?).

Rest is open for discussion!

There are mods to move characters so they are available earlier or to open up the cloakwood areas from the beginning (so you can collect characters from there). The BG1 NPC Project, SCS and the G3 BG2 Tweakpack come to mind.

Oh ok, I have the NPC project, wasnt aware they moved the characters? Would be nice to know where then.

Thanks for your input

Viconia's 'captor' is no challenge for a party and she would fit in well.
Xzar can be found imediately after you escape Candlekeep, though you might not want him if you have Edwin.
Montaron is with Xzar and could be useful for traps / locks letting your swashie concentrate on other skills.
Shar-teel is in the basilisk area east of Beregost temple and will join you if your strongest fighter defeats her in combat (even a poor fighter can easily win by running round and using missile weapons on her).  She's got good strength, but is a bit vulnerable in defense (and Kagain is probably a better choice for gauntlets of dexterity).
Eldoth (who is a bard) I've rarely used, but would be a possibility for your party.
Tiax is in Baldur's Gate, so you probably won't want to wait for him either, though his special ability of summon ghast is pretty handy.

From memory the SCS component of SCS that moves NPCs to more accessible locations puts Tiax in Beregost, Eldoth in the ogre's belt area, Viconia on the road south from Beregost to Nashkel and Shar-teel further south on that road .  You can install this component without having all the difficulty enhancers in SCS.

Shar-Teel has pretty decent dexterity, so if you don't want to use her as a tank, she could fill the archer position, as well.

She has a lower tolerance for goodness than the other NPCs, though, and will leave at 15 or 16 reputation.

Viconia stays in Peldvale, she doesn't get moved, maybe you're thinking of the cave she goes too when you kick her out?
Like Gorthaur suggested Shar-Teel is probably the archer type you're after, she can use composite longbows and can also dual to Thief if that would be of any use to you. Because of this she makes a really good backstabber, something your Swashbuckler can't do, so could compliment your team well.
Viconia is great and one of the best Clerics in the game, she is essential to any evil group.
Eldoth is ... alright, if you have the mod component instLled he gets moved to the area just before the Friendly Arm Inn, so you've probably already passed him. I've actually used him a lot, but I change him to Skald and then alter his stats a little, mainly his dexterity and intelligence.
What's good about him is he gets Skie later on in Baldur's Gate, which is part of his quest. Skie is good and will fill any Thief role in the group, I usually kit her into a Swashbuckler or Adventurer.
Safana is a decent Thief too, and with the tome of intelligence can dual class to Mage, which might be worth considering. Her personal quest is quite difficult for a low level group though, if you don't know how to do it that is.
Both Skie and Safana are Neutral, but Skie forms a couple with Eldoth so will only leave when he does I believe and he's Evil.

Viconia is moved by SCS, more precisely, she is moved to the woods south of Beregost.

Ah, my apologies then, I must have been thinking of the Tweaks mod. Why move her though? It's not as if she's in a difficult to get to part of the map in the first place?

Thanks for all your inputs!

Although I must say that Im abit sceptical about using mods at this stage, I read up on some things which allowed me to have Minsc and Edwin in the same party, called the "happy party" or something. It was part of a bundle called the Tweakpack. Anyway, after installing this pack I get CTD when Im about to meet Sarevok with Gorion at the first time. Even when I now uninstalled it it seems.

But this SCS mod seems very interesting...

Did the confrontation with Sarevok work before installing the Tweakpack?
Did you properly apply patches and G3 Fixpack?

I propably did something wrong, and yes the confrontation worked before installing the tweakpack.

Reinstalling everything as we write. Going to do it like this:

BG+ToSC+Patch
BG2+ToB+Patch
BG2_Fixpack
BGT
SCS
SCSII
BG2_Tweakpack

Hope nothing will screw up!
