Your bickering is embarrassing. If you do not share the same opinion, argue, or else ignore each other. If you want to fight, meet up in a chat program, or meet in real life and beat the crap out of each other. Take pictures.
Anyway, I have to admit that I never ever played femShep, although I tell myself "next time" every time I start a new Shep. Skimming the article made me more aware of one of my problems with femShep. In my experience men and women are different. So very different that you can't be more different without being another species. Because of this femShep behaving just like maleShep is problematic. I'm not saying that a women can't take the role of Commander Shepard, but she should do so in a somewhat different manner. Making up a proper femShep is double the work, really, and I do not condemn Bioware for not doing it. I know that many people, especially women, do not see this problem at all. It does not make it go away, but at least this way the fun they have playing ME is not diminished.
I dont think there is anything wrong with Biowares own attitude towards creating a female Shepard. I think its the right idea, and the right thing to do as one of the few siginificant RPG elements of the game. I think keeping things homogenous is the best way to go, even if it does create the occasional minor problem.
I just happen to dislike with the voice acting and attitudes other people have placed of the femshep character that turn me away from it.
