You probably might say that this should go in the tech forum, but I decided to post it here as it is more of a general advice for all DAO players.

I've been having some crashes. I decided to update drivers to see if that had something to do with it. I was using nvidia 195.62, a bit old eh? The new ones are 258.96.

OK I still don't know if the drivers will fix my crashes, but my game has changed entirely! It looks beautiful! Everything is so sharp, the colors are richer, the way lighting is handled now and shadows very realistic. I would go into an inn and everything was diffusely illuminated. There were shadows of course but blurred. Now it looks awesome, with darkened corners where a barrel is projecting a shadow, illumination intense right under a lamp and dimming with distance, a little haze around lights. Exteriors look much better too, as well as character skins, weapons etc.

It seems something important for the game was fixed between 195.62 and 258.96. Even if you don't have any technical problems with the game, update your drivers. You might get a surprise.
