I smiled at the Argonians. Everything else made me introduce face to palm.

They shouldn't put new species in just because it would be "cool". Alien species need to be interesting and fleshed out, not just in there because someone wanted yet another shallow dog-people race. Expand on the existing species, by all means. Give us even more depth in the ME universe, not less.

However, I wouldn't say no to a new species if it was more "alien" though, like something no-one was expecting. Take the awesome Culture universe as an example, like the Affront or Homomda.

But please, no more humanoids. The galaxy's humanoid population is starting to get a little crowded.

 Heh! tell that to George Lucas or Gene Roddenberry.But seriously 1 new humanoid/biped species wouldn't ruin everything,as additional species for the Yahg and the Raloi.Maybe as a antagonistic,xenophobe,ruthless alien race who hate the other aliens,even themselves,conflict and war between their people like the Xindi from Star Trek...

I feel that the OP is forcing his/her own animal fantasies onto this thread. Just me, nothing malicious.



If anything, I want to see more gender diversity. Aside from asari and human females, both games felt like a xeno sausage-fest for me. Also the Raloi.

Why am I seeing requests for a Reptilian race? We already have two, Krogan and Drell. Come on guys think outside the box alittle. Personally I don't care what it looks like I just want, as the player, to make first contact and have it not end in shooting them.
