I want to learn about Morrigan's intent, and not just listen to babbling, and know whats behind the mirror!
I want to know what she plans to do with my son, and I DEFINITLY want to know what flemeth is, and what her intent is!
Most of all, though, I want to discover these things while roleplaying the character that starred in DA:O, rather than see a cameo of these specific subjects as a fresh character, forcing me to look at it from an ignorant and DIFFERENT prespective.
Do you guys think they'll bring back the warden in DA:3? They are not going ahead in time really, so it wouldn't be far fetched.
Do you think some of these questions will be answered in DA:2? I sure as hell hope so.. Flemmeth seems to be one helpful woman for the beast Morrrigan makes her out to be!

EDIT: On a serious note, I'm disappointed the rest of the Wardens don't get that same sense of "Yeah, I'm done" that you got by stepping through the mirror, but I've completely accepted Hawke is the protagonist.

You are very prescient - snarky comment incoming!
Yes, there are people who are upset that they can't play as the Warden, and in fact, many have thrown tantrums over it (refer to the loose ends thread to see a few of them). They can't process the fact that the world of Thedas does not revolve around their Warden and that other people influence and shape history. Like I've said before (more or less - or maybe I was just thinking about saying it), there are other stories to tell and other heroes in Thedas.
Now that I've worked the sarcasm out of my system: in all seriousness, the Warden's tale is not necessarily over. People have repeated ad nauseum that the devs/writeres have already said that Morrigan and Flemeth have a role to play in the future. I think that DG himself said in the loose ends thread that we'll get answers in the future, just not anythime soon. Your Warden may very well be back, but in the meantime just pretend he/she is on a well-deserved vacation for now. I'm perfectly fine with playing as Hawke in DA2.

That's because 1) Bioware/EA are pulling the right strings in their marketing; 2) by now you've probably heard learned about warden to death.Gill Kaiser wrote...
To me, Hawke seems to be shaping up into a much more interesting protagonist than the Warden. Irrespective of the whole issue of the main character being voiced, and having a set race, I just think that Hawke's story sounds more interesting than the Warden's. I like the idea of rising to power over a decade, and playing someone so important to the future history of Thedas.

I do not have a problem with Hawke, I hsave a problem with the Warden's unconcluded story.
If it was hard confirmed there would be a large DA:1 expantion in the distant future or a warden DA:3 I'd go nuts over Hawke, but thats not the situation.. I want a conclusion to my epic tale.
Think about it.. Howmany games go back to the potangonist in one game after moving on in a different game? NONE!
Did Final fantasy x-2 come out after XII? No it did not!

I have no problem playing as Hawke, as I never expected to play as the warden again. He killed the archdemon, saved Fereldan and is currently chilling with Zev somewhere. DA:O was its own self contained story. Did it leave some questions? sure, but they dont need to be answered right away, or even necessarily by the warden (especially for those who didn't go through with the DR).

Where were your comment when I needed in the origns section of the fourm?

I'm also going to love having Hawke simply because the game can be written to be much more personal instead of being forced to be vague due to the multiple origins. Entire content can be based off Hawke instead of "Hey, you're that Cousland boy? Well, this is your dialogue reference. Hello!"
That reminds me of Zero Punctuation's review of Origins.

I'm the same as you bro...there are many on the Origins forums who feel the same way, but don't bother to come on the DA2 forums, because they get mauled, with reasons why Bioware did this and my warden story is done, crap.

I am REALLY excited to see this whole framed narrative structure as told by Varric and Cassandra. It's a shame everyone is so wrapped up in playing the same char that they can't enjoy the rest of the gameworld. I think alot of people are underestimating the kind of unique storytelling this is going to provide. We got a very small taste of it in Leliana's song and it seemed to get blown into some continuity debate because people missed the whole point of it being a bard's tale.

Morrigan's story had so much potential, and what did they do with it? squeezed it down into a DLC and handed us Hawke.
