There's quite a few of them listed on the article but they remain faithful to the original's story (just as DA2 is doing).

I think it would be awesome if DA3 had us pick up our Warden again as the main character, and depending on how DA2 went, having Hawke as a companion character. I was perfectly content with the Wardens story between Origins+Awakening and welcome the new character as Hawke, but I don't see the Warden ending entirely, the way I see it he is one of, if not the most powerful mortal in Fereldan, being capable of slaying the Arch Demon, Broodmothers, Flemeth and waves of Darkspawn. Sure, he had friends that helped, but his fighting prowess was way above theres, almost like the taint had a special effect on him. So, I'd love for him to return in DA3.

If you're referring to the decisions from Origins that a bugged savefile could bork, I believe this post by Terra_Ex, makes it somewhat clear that the only thing that's bugged is the dark ritual. This is due to a specific file that contains the ritual flags being wiped out at the end of the game. According to Terra_Ex, this was done to avoid breaking Morrigan's dialoge in the post-game.

This thread has enlightened me. Admiration for the Warden and Hawke can't overlap, it's mutually exclusive. Here I thought I could enjoy them both, but they're pressuring me into a committed relationship.

You're not alone in that sentiment. It's just that the majority of people have accpeted that DA2 is about Hawke, and they've moved on.

I like Hawke, I think he'll be an interesting character. I also like my Warden, simply because I think he's one of the most powerful people in Fereldan. Which is why I do want him to return in DA3, possibly with Hawke as a companion if they do bring him back, or even with a new character with Hawke and the Warden, with the Warden being silented by the taint, and slowly turning to a Ghoul, but helping you combat this new evil before he dies. That'd be cool too...
