Ok, I caved and decided to buy some of the DLC content. I bought Origins last month, played it through, and particularly wanted to know what on earth Morrigan's up to now, so I bought some points and brought three of the DLCs. I didn't realised they would all try to download at once (very slowly) and they all failed anyway.I realised this was probably because I didn't have the Patches, so closed DA:O and went to get those, then when I reopened it, the main quests {Witch Hunt, The Darkspawn Chronicles and The Warden's Keep) were back in the 'Available to Buy' list rather than the Download list. The points I spent on them are gone, although in the Installed Content window Blightblood and Witchcraft (which I assume are the sidequests or rewards of something) for Awakening and Origins have downloaded. I can't play them without the main bits, and I'm really annoyed that I've lost my money and gained only unplayable stuff because I closed a window. Not sure what to do, please advise?
Closed DA:O mid-download, now DLCs missing and points gone

If your problem is simply installing them, then the following will help.
You can install them using the daupdater which is found in the binship folder wherever you have Dragon Age Origins installed.
The files themselves can be downloaded from your DLC page here on social.bioware site.
http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php
That should get you to your own DLC page, download and install via the daupdater. When this happened to me, the mods installed but still went to download but nothing ever downloaded. However I could play normally and the download did not actually go through so no bandwidht was used.
If your problem is the DLC items not authenticating, that's out of my league I'm afraid.

Thank you for your advice - weirdly it seems to have started working again. I reopened the window and left it a while, then when I went back the games were downloading. Hope they work. Thank you very much for replying though.
