I destroyed the base, so I was a little surprised when the Shadow Broker told me he was going to take it for himself. WTF? I check the journal and there is nothing that states the fate of the base, when I was sure there was.
After finishing the ultrashort but vaguely satisfying DLC, I check for a message from TIM about it. None found. Was there one?
I talk to Miranda. She hopes we did the right thing by saving the base.

Some dialogue in this DLC reflects what you have done. Judging by what the Shadow Broker said to your Shep, something along the lines of: "After defeating you, I will use the Normandy's Reaper IFF to steal the Collector Base from Cerberus." He is referencing your Shep's decision of preserving the base and giving it to TIM and the
Shadow Broker plans to steal it. However, his plans are cut short because you kill him. But if you are sure your Shep destroyed the base (check the Journal entry under missions near the beginning: Stop the Collectors) and the Shadow Broker is wrong about the base, I don't know, glitch?

I destroyed the Collector Base and what the SB said to me was along the lines of "After defeating you, I will use the Normandy's Reaper IFF to salvage what's left of the Collector Base."

Are you sure you destroyed it on that save ? Maybe you wanted to see what happens if you saving it and ended up using that save by mistake

I destroyed the Collector base. The Shadow Broker was refering to what was left after the base was destroyed. Salvaging the tech could make some major credits. Seriously how do you think EDI was made? Salvaging what was left of Sovereign from ME1. It means that he's gonna go through the Omega 4 relay go look for salvage to make new tech.

Yeah, I heard "Salvage" as well. But, I have my own problems with this DLC that shouldn't have happened either (namely losing all my achievements after installing it), so I guess I can kind of feel your pain.... :S

I only completed the game once so I haven't saved the base, and he didn't say 'salvage'. Chalk it up to another glitch I guess.
Checked the mission log. Under 'Defeat the Collectors' it says 'Destroy the Collectors once and for all', but it doesn't mention the base. Is it different if you save the base?

Deleted LotSB and loaded a save after the Collector Station without LotSB content.
Miranda says the base is now destroyed. Will reload the DLC and see what happens.
