Just wondering....I want to harden Alistair and Leliana but I did not do it previously.

I must have missed that aspect. Tell me, what does it mean to "Harden" a character? I have not seen it referenced in DAO except when referring to certain types of leather armor.

When you do their personal quests, Alistair is meeting with Goldanna, Leliana when dealing with Marjolaine you get some dialogue responses afterwards. If you choose those who sound cynical you "harden" their personality. In Alistairs case he will make a good king if he is hardened and crowned, Leliana can be persuaded to not attack you should you defile the ashes if she is hardened. Plus party banter changes a bit. Ahh, now I remember bits and pieces of that. I think I chose that option with Alistair, but I can't remember.
