So I went to Blackmarsh, revived Justice, killed the Baroness and slayed the dragon. However, while I was in the Fade, I only got to repair two of the Veil tears before I was transported back. Now, after I did all of the tasks (I think), one Veil partition remains and I can't get through.
Is this a problem to the rest of the game or to a quest completion, and can I somehow fix the remaining tear?

You can only repair the tears while in the Fade. If you miss one, you won't be able to get past it once you return to the real world and you can't go back to the Fade to fix it.
As for what you'll miss, each tear gives access to a piece of the Sentinel Armor set.

Thanks - at least I know what I'm missing. I did keep some previous saves, but Justice is pretty potent with the two pieces of Sentinel armor I did recover (gloves and boots). I gave him the armor of the legion for his main armor for now and he's fairly strong.

I understood there were 2 ways into the fade - the Fade pedestal you activate, and when "The First" takes everyone to the Fade. I didn't activate the pedestal this playthrough, got sent to fade by Mother, only did 1 or 2 Veil tear machines before fighting the Baroness.
I SHOULD still be able to access the fade via the pedestal, so I can fix the remaining tears in the veil (and get the Sentinel armor) -- -- but it looks like I can NOT. The pedestal doesn't respond now
I'd call this a fairly significant bug, that should have been fixed 6 months ago!

It is not a bug, you need to fix all the tears before fighting the Baroness. There is no going back.

Luckily, the oldest Autosave was just before confronting the Baroness, so I could reload and fix the Veil
