A few days ago I bought the Witch hunt DLC for Dragon age Origins.

However, everytime I want to play it, it says that I am unauthorized to do so :/

I tried the guide, but it doesn't work for me :/



I used the first 3 steps to start it manually.

(I'm not sure what they mean by if it starts manually, but it said that it started and that i could stop it if I wanted to)

I downloaded version 1.4

And even disabled everything and then emptied the cage and re enabled everything



Even so it still says unauthorized..

And
sometimes it's still in the buy area, where it says that I need to
restart once I click buy (I already bought it), yet that doesn't help
either.



Could anyone please help me?

OK, here is what I just did. Go to homepage here, go to game add ons at top. Click 'redeem online walkthru'. I then left as it takes so long to load. Checked back at my game and it is now enabled. Hope it works for you.

Doesnt work for me, it says "unable to load area" now, wich is an improvement... but still not working.



All my DLC content is authorized, got Awakening, got patch 1.4 installed, tryed everything, but witch hunt doesnt work ¿why? i dont know.

Try going to Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings, open the AddIns.xml file with notepad. Control+F to find "RequiresAuthorization", and set all of them to 0.

thanks it worked even through i cyrl+f didt work but i were still able to find them

Editing the addins.xml to not require authorization does not fix the problem. Areas for Stone Prisoner, Wardens Keep, and Return to Ostagar will not trigger properly. Rewards for completing quests will not spawn into inventory properly. There are real solutions linked in the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum, or you can try the 1.05 beta patch.
