“I picked up these shoes (originally all white) for $20 knowing I was going to draw all over them and not sure how it would turn out since I've never done this before. It's taken me a while to get up the nerve and confidence to start working on them.
But I'm so happy with how they turned out. Tali and Garrus made it on since they're the ones who have been by your side through the first and second games, they've become iconic of the series for me. For the inside I finally settled on having my Shepard and the Normandy SR2.
I used Copic Markers on the fabric and for the N7. I may go over the N7 area with model paint which is what I used for the grey around the bottom. I've used Testors for an outer coat just for now until I find something more suited to seal them in. Till then they'll be staying as indoor-shoes only until summer comes along and I'm confident they wont get wet.”
