No, she has a wedding. She is a queen consort not a ruling monarch.

Don't think so, since you just become queen consort and not queen regnant. You're not a ruling queen, hence no coronation.

No, because the coronations are pre-rendered.

The part where you see Alistair being crowned is a video, not a cutscene where they can put the PC in. This is also why there are little technical glitches with it.

"C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player\\data\\movies" where you can find "coronation_king_only.bik", "coronation_king_queen.bik" and "coronation_queen_only.bik".

Anora would have her coronation and become Queen Regnant since Alistair declared her his heir.

Edit: The Cousland, for whatever reasons, is not considered for the throne, even though they probably have a claim as well.

He declared her his heir in the Landsmeet. It's a hard to miss conversation.

When Anora refurses to give up the throne and swear fealty to Alistair; he has placed in the tower until the business with blight over stating that if he falls she can have the crown. If you do the the Ritual with Morrigan to live, the epilogue never tells you Anora's fate.

Alistair then declares that Anora should be put in the tower and that she takes the throne if he falls in the Blight.

A Cousland cannot take the throne on his or her own- you can only become consort to the ruler, not ruler yourself.

It's been a while but how do I get Alistair to marry me at the end?? I have him loving me now and he made his advances ,calls me his love and stuff. How do I make sure I do the right choices at the landsmeet to make him marry me over anora??

You can only do this as a Human Noble, and all you have to do is choose the Persuade option "Alistair will rule with me" or something close to that. Can't remember the exact wording.

Why is this surprising? You declare that you're going to marry Alistair and be his consort. Alistair dies. Therefore he doesn't need a consort. Why would someone who hasn't even become a consort yet (unlike Anora who was Cailan's) take the throne?

Only hardened Alistair actually names her heir.  Though Anora apparently doesn't let that stand in her way in any case.

Well, you are from one of the noblest families in the country and have just saved the place.  Your father was a real candidate to succeed Maric.  I think you could put in a pretty good case if you really wanted to, though it would probably respark the civil war.

Well who else is there? Eamon apparently can't be bothered to make a bid for the throne himself and since his main argument against Anora was that she wasn't a Theirin and he's not a Theirin either then that probably wouldn't go over well. Not to mention that Anora is NOT a commoner, a Cousland is only one of seven possible Wardens, and the Warden has no backing or experience (they were only going to be left alone with the castle for the first time the day after Howe attacked).

Edit: I swear, every time I see these arguments it reminds me why I wrote this.

They do have a claim, which is one of the reasons Arl Howel attacks the Couslands before the Battle of Ostagar.
Why do you think Loghain let Arl Howel keep Highever or attack them to begin with, because it was part of the plan.

Arl Howel attacked the Couslands because he was already conspiring with Loghain to betray Calien at Ostagar and it was the perfect opportunity to advance in his eyes. If the Couslands were not removed then after the disater at Ostagar, many would look to Bryce Cousland as their new King.

What does bug me though is you never really see any comment from Eamon about you marrying Alistair.

Yeah I am doing this play thru as a female human noble rogue. Before I have him do the joining with Morgaine(Im still not sure yet) will it go weird if I talk to Alistair or Anora ??

Of course Bryce Cousland had a claim -- it was said that many thought he should have been king instead of Cailin.  However, that is not what I meant.  The Cousland warden connot sole ruler despite being a Cousland -- they have to marry either Alistair or Anora to become the consort to the regnant.  The landsmeet did NOT consider the warden as Regnant, and therefore no coronation.

Edit: As an interesting aside, if you try to marry Alistair for political reasons and do not have a high enough persuade skill, you do mention that you're Teyrna of Highever.

Historically speaking only - in many cases when Kings wed, they did indeed have a Royal Wedding and a separate ceremony to "crown" their spouses to be recognized as their Queen. It all depends on the ruling Monarch's wishes for his spouse, how he wanted her recognized and the customs of the time.

...Thank you.  That was magnificent.  (Then I read your giant profile rant and was further awed.)  You really point out in an amusing and clever way all the reasons why Cousland ruling alone does not make any sense whatsoever.
