Everyone you can show why you love rogues on this thread! You can also discuss about what you want to have changed in DA 2 and future sequels.

I'll go first, the reason I love rogues is because I love the feeling of being a sneaky little killer.In most my playthroughs of DA:O I have been a rogue. But unfortunatly I got the feeling I was more of an underpowerd warrior then the sneaky assasin I was hoping to be. But from what I heard in other threads this has been fixed, now you are some kind of mix between a killer in the dark and an acrobat.

The thing I hope they fix in DA 2 is mostly just the armour, seeing as they already changed the combat. The reason I want to see a diffrent armour is because they all looked the same in DA:O, only with a diffrent colour.

I Love Being a Rogue in DA:O I never played a Warrior because ..well..Why do think?. When i Get DA2 my first playthrough will be a Rogue.

It's all preference. My first Hawke will be a warrior because I like smashing things.

I will probably go rogue on my first one or two playthroughs, then mage, then rogue for a few more times and then maybe warrior to see their new skills and to see if it will impact the story some way.

Rogue comes in handy for utility. Basically, all parties need a rogue if not only to open chests and doors. So, being a rogue actually opens more options gameplay wise on deciding who you want to accompany you. I also like the 'cunning' dialogue options that peak through once in a while.



I played through the game three times (made a ton of characters, but only beat it three times) using a mage, warrior, and then rogue. I do have to say that Rogue and Mage were more fun than warrior - at least in my opinion. Having to run around for backstabs, the ability to disarm traps, stealing, hiding, etc were just plain fun! Mage was great for perspective. I really shouldn't have gone Arcane Warrior because it made my warrior boring (seemed like my warrior was just a wannabe of my AW).



I'll almost definitely make my first playthrough of DA2 a rogue
