I present my own Signature. It's a little bigger than the ones commonly seen here on Bioware Home, but hey. It's a fixed version of the one on page one, post one.

Bioware has previously confirmed that rogues will have archer talents. However, it didn't reveal any details. As a matter of fact, I doubt there were even any archers in the demo shown at PAX.Risax wrote...
So will there be any new skills available for archers? And will there be archery finishers?

But in DA2 Mages get special kills, so hopefully archers will too.

And em.. hope it's ok if I don't take the signature? It just ruins my eyes and there's not much left of them anyway

What I would like to see is rogues given the chance to instakill (with it's own finishing move) when they sneak up stealthed behind an unsuspecting foe before the main combat starts. Just a chance, not automatically happen, but it would be awesome to see a sword burst through ones chest while the other hand is breaking ones neck.

I also like how they get a new skill every second level.

I mean if you play as a Mage it is said people will react diffrently to you,for obvious reasons.
But I'm wondering if this applies to other classes as well.

"Hey ur a mage too! Omigawd!!!!11111 O_o"
kinda like how the origins were in DA:O we'll get a slightly diff line and thats about it.
I might be wrong though?

Anyway, I really hope rogues get a true ranger class with skills other than animal companion. Animal companion is nice, but when that's the only skill you get it doesn't feel like a true ranger class.

Animal companion - Special archer ability - Special archer ability - Improved animal companion
Then have the ranger choose whether they want a wolf, bear, or spider. That way instead of wasting skill points on two animals you're probably never going to summon, you instead gain some useful archer skills to make archer rogues a much more viable class to play as.

Same goes for Morrigans shapeshift, never cared to use it.

So I do agree that I seldom used 2 out of the 3 animals. But still was by far my most favourite rogue one ... never have build a DW rogue as a PC myself.

I like this. Another idea might be to give the ranger a special "survival" boosting ability.
One thing I can say in favor of multiple animals is that when I'm trying to play in max "reality" mode I do use at least two animals types, one outdoor (wolf) and one indoor (spider). For example I can't see how I would summon a wolf whilst in the Deep Roads, it has to be spidey.

*tried playing around in mspaint and it worked.*
**made two smaller ones too**

**on the topic of ranger skills ...
I only ever summoned the spider. Once the novelty of it wore off though, I stopped using it.

But the 'K' at the end of dark is nearly invisible.

I've been playing a Rogue in RPGs since I was given Blodgett as a pre-generated Character in "Slave Pits of the Undercity"... man did I just date myself.
My main D&D character for years was a halfling rogue! He was like Yoda in a lightsaber battle... simply unhittable... that's if you lived past his opening back stab.

That is why I am hoping that the game will revamp the skill system. Since the requirements for possessing each of the skills were very minimal and the fact that your team mates in many cases could take your skill in your stead made the Rogue’s benefit of acquiring additional skills rather moot.
Still I had great fun running around skewering or eviscerating my hapless opponents.

I hope archers get something.
I never played as one, but I noticed in Awakenings Nathaniel ended up dealing out 1k hits with Arrow of Slaying *or that's what I think it was*.
If we can deal that damage with a flying, pointy stick, I would think finishing moves possible. *Even if a 1K shot to the face is epic in itself*
@Risax
Sorry about the k, it looks brighter on my computer, I'll try and fix it.

It's not good to have appreciation threads chock full of bumps, and back and forth banter, because it essentially pushes more legitimate threads with questions and other more serious discussion to pages 3 and 4 and so on, until you have a full page full of nothing but fan love, which is great, but the majority of the time, that belongs in the Group Section
