I wouldn't go any. I would find a certain volus, drug him an go team BIOTIC GOD. Also keep him in that state of mind permanently by illegal surgery or radiation of some kind.

ME1= Council

ME2= Cerberus

ME3= Alliance

I'm only basing this on my observation of Hackett's dossier on the Shadow Broker's ship. I'm hoping to hell that we will be working directly with Hackett

If Shepard was somehow able to usurp Cerberus from the Illusive Man's control.... now that would be awesome :P Or just put Miranda in charge, she's my b**** anyway :P

Shephards own faction. Screw Cerberus, those sick, evil bastards. Alliance are a bunch of wussies, but are welcome to join Shephard Imperium, where all stores are Shephards favorites.

My renegade Shepards are not too fond of Cerberus. They have their limits and don't want to give renegades a bad name. :P

As much as im a huge Alliance fan, i think its ganna be team Shepard...he has all he needs to do things his way. Plus it makes sense, ME1: Alliance, ME2: Cerberus, and ME3: Team Shepard!

Im guessing Liara will act as your own informant, basically the same job the council had in ME1 and TIM had in ME2.

This really makes the most sense. I can't see Shepard being able to rely on anyone else for help against the reapers but the people he trusts most. We need that central character to give missions and bring us into important plot points and Liara will fit that role perfectly as the Shadow Broker so she'll be in the game but not in the squad so it'll appease her fans somewhat. That's going to be the biggest pain in the ass for ME 3 lol trying to please fans of each great character they create.

yeah i can see this happen to

Even in ME 1, Shep works with the Alliance, but as a Specter he/she is outside the normal command structure. If you ignore the side missions, then Shep does everything as part of the Council driven mission of apprehending Saren. In ME 2, again, Shep isn't really a part of Cerberus, it's more of an uneasy alliance. Even in my Renegade play-through, it seems like your relationship with Cerberus is diminished after the final mission.

I agree with the folks that say Team Shep for ME 3. For many players, Shep has been reinstated as a Spectre. Either way, Shep will have a ship and allies in the Alliance, Cerberus, and with the various Council races. I'm curious to see if the resolution of the Collector attacks endears you to the Alliance and the Council, or if they remain largely oblivious of all of that. I'm assuming that data recovered from the collector vessel and various genetic samples go a long way toward at least demonstrating that the Collectors were a threat to galactic civilization. I'm expecting that we might still see some initial push-back on the whole "Reaper" thing until armies of super-husks start attacking council space.

As long as Liara can "Come up for drinks" from time to time, I guess I'm cool with her not being on the squad.

I definetely support this, but I hope the Shadow Broker resigns and joins my squad, leaving that other person in charge. I still prefer the SB as my squadmate xD

Shep should just work on her own. Shes a Specter but could have ties in the Alliance.

I'm hoping that Shepard will not be working for Cerberus in ME3. The only thing my Shep wants to kill more than the Reapers is the Illusive Man, and I'm hoping we'll have the oppurtunity to ventilate his cranium in Mass Effect 3.

Besides, Cerberus is a small terrorist organization. How many carriers, cruisers or dreadnoughts does it field? Exactly. The Alliance is of more use fighting the Reaper fleet than Cerberus is.

I think thats whats more then likely going to happen. I meen bioware themselves said that its the first dlc to bridge the storys of mass effect 2 and 3.
i dont think shepard will be working for alliance because even though he was a spectre he was still too restricted by what he did. Cerburus let shepard get away with more but TIM still really wanted shepard to do what he wanted. Shepard would get the full backing from Liara on almost every decision.
Plus Bioware have written in a instant stand in for liara just in case she needs to be freed up kick some reaper backside.

Whatever happens im sure Bioware will make ME3 absoloutly epic. My guess is 3 disks. its gonna be huge. I just need to get my hands on a certain DeLorean.

I don't think we'll have a choice between the two to start ME3. If a choice like that is in the game than the decision about which side to join will already have been made based on your previous actions.

More than likely the last chapter will be Shepard doing things his way and will use the help from anyone whose bridge he did not burn. Liara will probably be paramount in ME3 with her information network.

I don't think either we wilkl get a choice ... we didn't have a choiuce in regards to Cereberus and ME2 despite of our "run ins" with Cerberus in ME1.

My bet so far is Anderson with some other resources bundled in via the DLC(s) ...

Team Shepard seems logical hes got all he needs

-Miranda and Liara both specialize in information and both have serious smarts
-Possibly full crew for the normandy, If he lost them Jacob has friends in the alliance
-12 of the deadliest people in the universe
-Best pilot
-most technically advanced ship in created capable of destorying giant mobile bases
-Super genius Mordin who can devolp cures and immunitys in weeks and has STG hookups
-TIMs location incase thats a problem
-Garrus has hookups with the citadel and turian government
-Tali possibly has Hookups with te Migrant fleet
-If VS rejoins more alliance hookups
-Clan Urdnot hookups
What else does shepard need

[Edit: Spoilers removed. -- Pacifien]

So you're saying that I'm screwed?

There's got to be another way to gather human and alien resources besides the Alliance or Cerberus.

That is an awesome playthrough you did there.

Yeah, but you are right.  Too many variables to potentionally ruin the next game on a trilogy perspective anyway

I think in ME3 Shepard should again use the fact, that he is a SPECTRE. In ME2 I only used it on

SPOILER WARNING
[Edit: No matter how small the spoiler, the second you find yourself putting "spoiler warning" in your post, it's immediately not acceptable for this no spoiler forum. Sorry, that's the rules. -- Pacifien]
END OF SPOILER.

So I would like him to see starting to act as a SPECTRE and not an errand boy. I think that to make a united front, he will have to work with everyone, especially the Council and the Alliance. For this I hope to see admiral Hackett as a military attache or something like that.

neither, the alliance is blind, and cerberus is crooked.
