Kelly: Yes commander?

Kelly looks down at the bandages on her hands and despairs.

We'd head to the gunnery control station, where Garrus would be using a laser rangefinder to play with the kitty ("Uh, I was just calibrating the rangefinder, Commander").
We'd go down to Jack's hidey hole, and the kitty would be asleep, curled up under Jack's cot.
In engineering, walking over the panels, with Gabby and Ken trying to work around it (fortunately, interactive haptic interfaces are far less likely to be activated by kitties than standard keyboards).
In the mess hall, the kitty would be seen sneaking up and grabbing something off the stove whenever you talk to Mess Sergeant Gardner.

I have better idea. Since all ME2 squadmates will be cameo'd anyway, we'll get a whole new squad of Cerberus kitties!!!

The Liopleurodon could be a squadmate too.
Then this would be a mission where you invade the hanar homeworld to steal any Prothean artifact for Cerberus, seeing that this creature is as useless as the jellies on land, even if it had a gun.
