I keep logging in with my Game Account login and password, exactly as the thing says, and it will not let me register the account.  It says: "Invalid username / password combination or account is already registered."

I know for a fact that the username and password is correct as I have used it to log in to the Mythic accounts site and the game client countless times, yet it will NOT work here, and I have no other Bioware account, so there is no way it is registered to another account.

Can anyone help?

Do you have an EA account by any chance?

It might if your EA Account shows that you own Warhammer, as it seems the EA Account trumps any other account. It's just a thought, but now that I think about it, probably of no help to you unless you want to enter in your EA account as if it's your Game Account to see if that works. Otherwise, your inquiry might have to wait for another Warhammer poster to catch notice of this post and offer a solution or possibly Monday when all the bigwig Bioware people are around again.

You could also try PMing one of the Warhammer moderators directly. I'm sure they had to troubleshoot this problem for several others when their boards moved over to this site.

I am having this same problem. I tried to tie my Warhammer account to my Social account today and keep getting the same error. I've made sure I'm using the correct username/password and I have not tied Warhammer to an EA account. I tried PMing one of the Warhammer mods, referencing this thread, and they told me to post in the support forum here. Any help that can be provided is appreciated. Thanks.

I've tried to find a solution, but nothing really solid came up on the search. Make sure you have an active WAR account. The registration is apparently case sensitive. I found this post: http://social.biowar...8/index/3257303 so you might try sending a PM directly to the Bioware employees that responded in that thread.

I've an european account just reactivated. i refill al contact information on warhammeronline website but i cannot use that account for registration here at bioware and neither loggin into game. i check twice username and password, on mythic website it works but here and in game not. What can i do? Someone can help me?

I've been working with EA and Bioware on this problem for nearly two months now.
I've had a ticket open with support.ea.com for two months.
I've attempted to have the moderators here communicate with EA to figure it out and they haven't done anything but give me the run-around.
I've been on the phone with them, including hours on hold.

- Had both of them in my account trying to register: Failed.
- Recreated my account with a different email: Failed.
- Tolerated all of the "maybe your keyboard is malfunctioning" brainless A+ certified idiots thinking they know something.

The closest thing to a solution I got was from a moderator (Jesse.Reid) telling me that the API on this site that hooks into Mythic account information to do the linking returns that my account is "banned" even though I've never posted on any officially sponsored Mythic forum.  No reason could be found, no verification that the source is returning accurate information just a roadblock.

The mods here do not have rights/permissions on necessary systems to correct Mythic account issues. I.E., the mod I spoke with couldn't simply "unflag" my account because ultimately nobody here has a clue as to what accomplishing that would entail. Expect them to "send emails" and "forward it to level 3 support" and then expect never to be contacted again because they can't figure it out and ultimately they don't care enough to attempt to figure it out.  This is EA we're talking about afterall.

They just stop communicating.  Close your support ticket and pretend it never happened.  Then you call back Tier 1 support representative "Peggy" over in Oozbeckistan and and begin the process again.

This is a widespread issue, it has been since Bioware became the "official" forums and I know this from talking to people in game. You're incredibly lucky if you're able to get your account linked here, but its about as random as keep contribution whether you'll luck into it or not.

Saddest and most pathetic thing is, nobody is really going to do anything about it.

I was having the same problem although I suppose you may have answered my problem here.  I was never banned from the official forums but I do have two "terminated" game accounts on my EAMythic master account (as well as another 2 that weren't terminated).  Maybe it won't let me register the other two because of the two banned ones?  Who knows.

But, yeah, I just spent an hr or so with EA tech support and was told to contact Bioware about it.

My account can't be linked to Warhammer neighter.

European account also.



This xmas I asked Santa for this crappy problem to be solved and all I got was a bag of coal. At least the coal works flawlessly.

same problem here as you all. i say BioWare/Mythic/EA - WHOEVER, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!! one thing is to have dumb Master account, Game accout, different accounts on either webs and now this. good work EA for merging all this together and not working on it properly :/

I've also opened a ticket at help.warhammeronline.com. I realised that this is also the same content as on customersupport.ea.com, great. But the answer was to call the phone support in this problem: 1-650-628-1001. Because this is a bit expensive from Germany, I used a Call-by-Call provider for this. But the cheap provider doesn't support the automatic-telephone-menu with dialing numbers to walk through it.

After chating with live chat of EA, the answer was that only the phone support can help me, so back to help.warhammeronline.com. I asked for some email-address or maybe if they can call me. Reply was to use the number 650-628-4306 instead (bit strange without the 0 in front?). But before dialing I tried it one more time. And now it works!!! I don't understand why. I didn't even clean my browser-cache.

I think this is a temporarily problem. To solve it, just try and keep trying, and you have to be lucky..



Because my ticket was closed automatically, and I cannot open it again, I cannot write them that my problem vanished, sorry...

Same issue here. I am 100% certain I have the correct, cap-sensitive password for my US WH:O account. I can play the game. However, I cannot link the account to my Bioware account.

I just popped in again after a year+ away.



EDIT:  And now, it works.  Judging by the other thread, where a similar change happened, somebody did somethin' useful.  Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I may not register my warhammer acc to my bioware acc. Kinda sucks cuz there are sum peebles i wanna talk to but cannot.
