 I bought Dragon Age: Origins from Direct2Drive when they had a sale. My question is that Direct2Drive doesn't have Awakening, but GamersGate and and GameTreeOnline have it. Would it matter that I'm buying Awakening from these other sites? 

I don't think it would but i would like to be sure.

As far as I know, all DDL versions the mac version are identical.



In fact, I'm pretty sure my versions don't 'match' either. I've had no problems.

I decided to go ahead and buy Awakening from GamersGate and it works fine. :] I was just worried.



I think it said that it should work with any copy of DA:O so it didn't seem like it was limited per site.

No, I mean, d2d gives a guarantee that you can re-download your game as often and as long as you need, in case your computer/storage crashes or the file gets corrupt and you need to re-download it.

 Just as a fyi Direct2Drive does have awakening and has had it for along time.

I know that Game Tree Online will let you download your games multiple times after purchase.  I had to do once with my version of DA:O about five or six months after I bought it and it worked just fine.

Not for the Mac. Unless they do a great job at hiding it.

Was just @ D2D looking for it as I have an account with them and not Gametree. I can't find it there.
