I purchased Mass Effect 2 for PC thru Steam, and just moved to a new PC. After Steam installed ME2 on my new machine, I started it up, and to connect to the Cerberus Network I was prompted for an email. Not being certain which email I used last time, I entered the wrong one. Then when I entered my Key it told me it was already in use.
I have since been trying to get it to prompt me for an email again so I can tell it the right one. I tried deleting the local files and redownloading and installing, but somehow it remembered my previous choice. I looked through the registry but found nothing.
Tech Support verifies that the keys are associated with the other email, but have been otherwise useless so far.
Since then Bioware Social has been behaving bizzarly as well, tho I don't know if it is connected. I have to re-login everytime I click on something. Having two accounts for the same game may be freaking it out.
Please help! Any suggestion will be gratefully accepted.

i just transfered computers too and as long as you use the same email account ( shepard@hotmail.com) then it will work as it is tied to your EA games account, and not bioware.

Turn off auto-login under preferences, then exit & restart the game.

Sounds like they haven't mentioned it, but they can transfer registration between accounts. Just FYI, if you would rather have the keys associated with this e-mail.
