That actually would be cool, but then you get the personality of the demon which isnt  a bad thing.

I would like to think the PC would have to keep the possessed aspect of such a companion a secret, which would present all sorts of interesting scenarios when the child is acting...not like a child in front of NPCs.  I can almost taste the dialog now.

We'd just order the game from England, which many of us already do.
On the bright side, it's not US that required the silly underwear to be tacked onto characters during the love scenes. *chuckles*

Yea it was hard trying to figure out who's more annoying at that part.

Whichever one I let die I really didnt feel too bad about, even though Eamon got all emoz about it I drew a sigh of relief .

That seems rather unfair to say a person inquiring about a possible child companion is in fact an advocate of child abuse.

Were you to have a child in your party and take him into places where combat is certain, then at some point violence being committed against him would be a given. Now seeing as you're the adult in the party and therefore responsible for the minor's wellbeing, then willfully taking him into a dangerous situation when you are perfectly aware that he may come to harm as a result is by legal definition child abuse.

A child companion is nothing new in a game. I'm surprised Bioware would tread so carefully around this subject; even if hidden by layers of gameplay hours, some of Connor's possible ends are not peaceful.

A child/teenager companion would be alright by me. The age difference would potentially lead to unique dialogs.

Could lead to some people suggesting a romance path though... I'm just saying. Look at the Bethany romance suggestion that was made. That was creepy.

But just because people talk about it doesnt mean it will happen. The dev's have made it clear that in no way it'll be in the game (save for the weirdo's who would mod it.)

And as such David said that it wont happen, we're just having a disscussion about it. As cool as the whole child prodigy thing would be, it wont be. So yes getting all bent out of shape with the "The responsible adult should do this and that" is pointless.


I'm not trying to bash you or anything, just saying you shouldnt get your panties in a twist.

Wow, I'm sure not going to ask for trees in DA:2 now. Might lead me to have sex with them at some point.
